Sorry I disappeared again. I went to the E.R. on Dec. 24th with stomach pains. After a CT scan they said it was my gallbladde. Had alot of stones and the gallbladder its self had to come out, OKKKK. Well the scan also showed a spot on my upper left lung. Ther did a biop on the 25th (Merry Christmas). They also punchured and collasped my lung during biop and had to put a chest tube in. Next day my throat started swelling (3X its size). chest tube was too small and leaking. Put largertube in. Took gallbladder out on the 27th. That night face swelled up (will add pics later, it was baddddd). Replaced tube again and put it in my side. That 1 worked, swelling started to decreese. Biop came back on the 28th, Stage 1A Squamouse Cell Lung Cancer. Scheduled surg. for Jan. 3rd. Had to do a PFT test, thats to check level of breathing. That was done on the 2nd. 5 min before surg. they cancel. Said PFT showed that my right lung wasnt strong enuff to substain my life during 3 hr surg. (Dumbass's not accounting for all the pain i was in from gallbladder surg. and how it affected my breathing.) So the dis a Perfusion Scan ( shows full lung function). It showed that I had 3x more capassity than they thought. Resheduled surg. for the 6th. Took chest tube out on the 5th. n the 6th they took the upper left lobe of my lung. Another chest tube put in. 1 day in ICU. Maintained my own breathing at 97 percent on 3rd day. Took tube out yesterday (16th) and sent me home 5 hrs later. Test on lung showed all tissue was clean around cancer spot. Bone scan was clean. The spot was 1.9cin. If it had been 1 more cin larger it would have been stage 2. I am home moving on my own power. No kemo or radiation needed. Wanted to be home by the 9th for my Bday, but was worth the wait. Im a litte weak but getting stronger daily. Love you all and hope your holidays were happy. I start my new life today. Smoke free.
