To all our new members “Welcome” all, and hope you have found a home with us here in Addicts. We will do our best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. If you have any questions please just ask. We try to make everything here easy to understand, and we all try and work from the same page.

First off I want to thank Scruffydogy1 for his AWESOME Hosting on November 9th.
A record not soon to be broken I am sure. If you weren’t aware Doggy hosted the whole day with only a small break during the entire day. He had some very nice turnouts also. The Daily Ratings were through the roof. WTG Doggy!!! And while we are on the “Doggy topic” Congrats on the move to the Admin Box, you’re a welcome pleasure.

And ‘Welcome back” WrightJacki77 to the Hosting and Playing Team, also on your HTD position. Host Jacki will be doing the October T.O.C. on November 17th, at 8:30 p.m., if you were a winner in October—just go to the check-in page of Tourney #2834201 and check-in, all Winners are Registered. Host Jacki also has promised to get some Teams Tourneys in the works, so watch for them.

Notice there is a new “HELP WANTED” in the Staff Box. We have a great Staff here and right now many of our Hosts are having either health or personal issues to work through and left us a bit on the light side of hosting. So if you have hosted before, and would like to do some hosting let us know, we could use some help and the Members like a Variety of Hosts.

GOLD GIVE-AWAYS planned for December Contests are in the works. When we started this league we decided to take the proceeds from the Revenue Sharing and put them back in the league. So we will be giving a few away during December keep your eye on the Main page for details how to win the GOLD.

Now for some things to remember I know the following has been said before but it is worth REPEATING.

The #1 ladder spot is a 72-hour pit stop unless #2 knocks you out in that time frame. We LAP you after the 72 hours to the 20th spot. Good luck all.

PATIENCE—many of the members are in such a hurry to play they don’t allow some the time needed to get a table set. This is frustrating to all asking the Host for a timer, repeatedly saying CLOSED etc. Please-Please, remember we all don’t have High Speed connections!!! There are some still on Dial-up and also those who have older computers, so try and show some PATIENCE with your fellow members!

SPORTSMANSHIP—is a must for those in leagues. Everyone has a losing streak at sometime during there time in a league. And yes POGO does play favorites with some and not others it seems. But remember IT IS A GAME. Be polite and adult and wish your opponent well, be happy for them – someone has to lose! It is also Poor Sportsmanship to use the CUBE incorrectly. Waiting till you have the Game in the bag to throw it, will only make problems for you in the League. Soon NO ONE will want to play you. So use Good judgment when cubing.

LAST but never LEAST please don’t wait until Hosts say “Closing” to register for a tourney, jump in earlier. And remember READ all the RULES it tells you everything you need to know about the event. The League also asks you be in the room 10 Minutes prior to START TIME – this would avoid a lot of those with SEED from losing it.
