Hello Addicts !!

With Thanksgiving behind us the Christmas season is right around the corner. We want to take this time to wish you all a “Joyous Season” greeting, no matter where you are or how you may celebrate.

Before getting to into the League stuff we also would like to send our
“Get Well Wishes” to some of our League family; Abby19863 has been in the hospital, also EJSMom92496 recently had surgery and will be recouping for several weeks. Keep them in prayer.

We are making some changes here going into the New Year. As many of you may have noticed, Witchy has temporarily stepped down as Admin. Until she has more time to be here, she has been busy working night and sleeping days along with preparing for her first Grandchild. Although it was with mixed feelings we agreed this is the best to relieve her of the pressure. Chips, Jaxs, Smilin, Scruffy and myself (Hap) will remain as acting Administrators, so if you have a problem you can go to anyone of us.

Also, some more changes for the New Year, I am going to be using a template for the main page and not making a new page every month. The new page will contain all the same information, it will just change colors and less images then right now. If any of you have ever attempted HTML you will understand the time it consumes and the energy to come up with ideas monthly. After three years it is time to take an easier road. This will relieve the pressure so I can Host more and do the other things needed for the League. Also beginning next year we will be having not only the monthly “T.O.C.” but also“Guys n Gals” and for those with Birthdays “Birthday Bash” as regular Monthly Tourney’s. Any other ideas send them our way.

The December “Gold Contest” is going well right now there are several who have stepped up their playing and are near or over the 50 matches.
We may be adding another Contest before long, just because this has gone so well. Remember only those who are not Premium Members are eligible. The Staff will be assisting by holding mini 1-pointer Marathons so watch the calendar. Remember you get credit win or lose, just playing
Adds up. And for the Mini 1 pointers the Timer will be 5 minutes only !!

You may have notice the “HELP WANTED” we need a few Hosts willing to help fill the void in the calendar. So fill out an application and give it a try. All we ask is you are a “Rated Member” and that’s only 20 games !!
We will help you with the rest !!

Just a short reminder note – when you join an event, PLEASE make sure you are in the Room at Closing !! It is unfair to all to make your opponent wait. And also holds up the rounds. So please be on time.
