Bottom line is an accusation of Corruptness, jealousy, and favouritism was mentioned so all know.
Let me start here to say that Flotsom, Tigger, Gayle and I are not any of the above. In fact all players are treated in the same manner here and always will. Flotsom puts many hours in trying to improve this ladder (has the greatest respect and love for all the members no matter who) to make it a fair and fun place for all to play. She and the rest of us cannot act alone. Any decision made here must have the approval of at least one other Admin in minor cases and at least two others on major cases. This is one of our checks in order not to allow personal feelings interfere with the ladder and its members (that is a pledge we make when we take on the position of being an Administration member).
Flotsom, by far, puts the most time in cross referring complaints and proof of, to let us know what, why and how something may have occurred. The Administration then meets to have a discussion in order to come out with a correct decision on what is to be done that is fair and correct.
This ladder has actually growing at this point in time (I graph and do many things not seen by members to see trends of actions and responses’ to what is happening daily) and I am sure it is because of actions we are taking against members that are cheating or being abusive towards other members and are the right actions to take.
Sometimes a player may get penalised and over react, we can accept that until it is a personal attack. Then further actions may have to take place as this is a social ladder as well as a ladder for rank. These actions are for the full membership and not just the TT members as all are the heart and soul of this ladder. These actions are to help stop pettiness and/or sour apples that may ask the question of members “is this a place I want to play”? That is the direction we are going on and put many hours into making this THE LADDER people want to play and have fun doing so.
Some days I do wonder what is happening to the FUN part in some as that is first and foremost in my heart and always will be.
