Our previous site design was created in 1999, and the Internet and web design have come a long way since then. While our layout was at one time considered efficient and modern, it is falling more and more behind the times.
We wanted to give our site a facelift, to make it more visually appealing for everyone, as well as easier to navigate for our users. This redesign gave us the opportunity to do this, as well as to create new and exciting features for all of our users.
It doesn't! The new design will not affect where members of your League meet to compete. You can continue playing in the same gaming room you have been before the redesign.
We have included an easier way for members to access the gaming room. Click on the 'Go Play Now' button on the 'Home' tab and you are there! If you have problems logging into the gaming room using the 'Go Play Now' button, then you may need to log into the gaming service (Grab, Yahoo, Pogo, etc.) first.
Yes! In fact, you can now view the Top 20 members in the 'League Members' section on the League's home page. From there, you can also view the newest members of the League or search for a specific member.
To report a League match, simply go to the 'Standings' tab and click on the Report Loss link in the sub-menu. If you are logged in, you only have to enter your opponent's username.
You can issue a formal challenge by logging in and going to the Standings tab. From there, just click the "Formal Challenge" link in the sub-menu and enter the information into the form.
To view another member's profile, go to the Search box in the upper-right corner of the League's page and type the member's username. Please be sure 'Players' is selected in the drop-down menu, then click 'Go!'
Alternatively, you can type the member's username into the 'Search for Players' box in the 'League Members' section on the League's home page. This will open a new tab in the box with the results of your search, without requiring you to navigate away from the page.
You will still be able to view certain information, such as standings or player profiles without logging in. However, you will have to log in to use certain features, such as Quick Register for Tournaments, Report Loss, or Edit My Profile.
You can upload an avatar to your profile by visiting the 'MyAccount' tab. Click the 'Edit Avatar' button, and then choose 'Browse' to select an image from your computer.
If you need assistance with your premium membership, you can contact MyLeague by going to the 'Support' tab and choosing 'Premium Support' on the sub-menu.
If you need assistance with League-related problems, you can contact the Admin team for your League by going to the 'Support' tab and choosing 'Contact Admin' on the sub-menu.
If you need assistance with your premium membership, you can contact MyLeague by going to the 'Support' tab and choosing 'Premium Support' on the sub-menu.
Tournament pages have not been redesigned at this time. While we do hope to eventually give the tournament pages some updating, we're trying to tackle one project at a time. When you go to a tournament link, your tournament page will load in its own window, and will look the same as it always has.
Tourney Jump has been integrated into our search box. Simply type the jump number into the search box in the upper-right corner, then choose 'Tourneys' from the drop-down menu and click 'Go!' The search box is accessible from each tab so there's no need to click around to find it!
The main League page ('Home' tab) now has a tourney calendar for navigation purposes. Simply use either the "Today" or "Tourney Calendar" tabs to choose which view you want.
There's also an expanded Tourney Calendar on the 'Tournaments' tab. This will let you search tournaments based on specific criteria (such as tournament type, entry fee, and time).
To view which tournaments you have registered for, simply click the 'MyAccount' tab and scroll down to the 'My Tournaments' section. You will see a list of all the tournaments in which you are currently registered.
As long as you never report losses to each other you will not be violating any rules. Users from the same household or sharing the same computer may NOT report losses to one another. Additionally, one player having more than one account on the same League is a multiple accounts violation and can result in all multiple accounts of that player being kicked off.
No! Doing so will flag your accounts as being at the same location. Also, sharing your password with someone else compromises the security of your account and is a violation of MyLeague policy. Instead, contact a member of the Admin staff for the League to request assistance in reporting the loss.
If you used his/her computer to report losses or access your League account, then the system assumes you live in the same household. Unfortunately, we have no way to over-ride this security protection. Please contact the Head Administrator of the League for further assistance.
If you have been kicked from a League and you are having problems removing or transferring a premium membership, please use the 'Premium Support' link and we will be happy to assist you.
Challenges for regular League matches are issued in the lobby when you see someone there that you want to play a League match against.
The Formal Challenge system is in place so that you can challenge someone using our website if you are having a hard time challenging a specific person in the lobby. Click here to read all about the Formal Challenge System.
Some Head Administrators choose not to use the Formal Challenge System on their League. Please discuss this matter with the Head Administrator for your League for a more detailed explanation.
Yes! Membership on MyLeague is free for anyone that wants to join. However, we do have optional premium memberships that give you additional features on your account. Visit http://www.myleague.com/premium/ for more information.
If you go to http://www.myleague.com/ and click on the 'Browse Leagues' tab, you can browse the Leagues on our site by Service, Genre, and/or Game. Simply make your selections, and the Leagues matching the criteria will be listed at the bottom. When you find one you like, click on the Join Now button!
The games are played at different gaming services (such as Yahoo! Games, Pogo, Grab.com, etc.), depending on which League(s) you joined. Please contact the Admin staff for the specific League(s) you joined to inquire about which gaming service and lobby they use for League matches and tournaments.
The Hall of Fame lists the top players in various categories. Unlike the LeaderBoards, the Hall of Fame lists all-time records, which means that if you make it into the Hall of Fame and then leave the League, your username will stay in the Hall of Fame for as long as your record stands. If you were entered into the Hall of Fame and your name is no longer listed, please contact the Admin team.
You don't have to do anything special to get into the Hall of Fame because it is completely automated. You will be placed in the Hall of Fame within 24 hours once you have broken a record previously held by another member in a particular category.
If you withdraw from a League or your account is deleted for inactivity while you are listed in the Hall of Fame, your record will remain until it is broken by another member. Please be advised you will not be able to continue building your original record if you rejoin. If you were entered into the Hall of Fame and your name is no longer listed, please contact the Admin team.
If you have a suggestion for a Hall of Fame category, please contact MyLeague.com at http://cgi.igl.net/cgi-bin/ladder/public_mail/member.cgi?subject=Suggestion with your suggestion.
Visit http://cgi.igl.net/cgi-bin/ladder/bux/center.cgi?do=browse&template=base to view the list of prizes currently available in the LadderBux Redemption Center. Check back frequently as the products are always changing!
No, but you do earn more LadderBux if you are a premium member. Additionally, you can redeem prizes more often if you are a premium member, depending on your premium membership level.
A Head Admin is the person who owns and operates a particular MyLeague. They are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the League, and they might be called upon to help resolve disputes in chat or answer questions regarding rules, procedures, etc.
A Head Admin is the owner of their MyLeague. The Head Admin has the final decision for the regular operations of the League. Because the Head Admin is the owner of the League, they are solely responsible for negotiations with other Leagues, managing the League, and managing Revenue Sharing funds.
A regular Admin is someone that has been appointed by the Head Admin to assist with the operation of the League.
If you have a problem with an Admin other than the Head Admin, you can contact the Head Admin to discuss the situation and help to resolve the problem. If you have a problem with the Head Admin, then your best recourse is to simply not participate in that particular League. MyLeagues are completely managed by the Head Admin, and MyLeague.com has no involvement in the day-to-day operations.
If you are interested in becoming an Admin on your League, then you will need to contact the Head Admin of the League to inquire about an Admin position.
To withdraw your account from a League, log into the MyAccount tab and the Withdraw option will be listed under My Options on the left-hand side. Please note the process is irreversible, so be SURE you want to withdraw before doing so.
If you are a premium member, then you may be required to remove and/or transfer the premium membership to another League prior to being able to withdraw.
If you are unable to find your account on the League, then there are several possibilities of what could have happened.
If you haven't played recently and you are not a premium member, then it is likely your account was purged for inactivity. Check with the Admin team of the League to see how inactivity is handled.
Make sure you are searching on the right League! There are several Leagues for the same game, so make sure you are looking in the correct location. Many people get confused and look for their account on the wrong League.
If you are still unable to find your account, please contact the Admin team on the League for further assistance.
You can have only one account per League per person, but you are allowed to join as many different Leagues as you would like. In other words, it is okay to have accounts on two different Leagues, but it is not okay to have more than one account on the same League.
This decision is up to the Head Admin of the League. However, there may be certain restrictions placed on you, such as being unable to report matches to members that reside in the same household.
If you have forgotten your password, you can have it sent to the e-mail address associated with your account. To retrieve your password, visit the 'MyAccount' tab and click on Lost Password in the sub-menu.
If you do not play for a specific amount of time, then your winning or losing streak may be reset. The Head Admin of the League sets the specific amount of time, so please contact him/her with any further questions about streaks.
Yes - online live support is offered to our Diamond members as one of the many features of their premium membership.
The guaranteed hours of operation are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Friday. However, there may be an operator available at other times of the day as well.
Visit http://www.igl.net/gold/index.php?page=diam to find out more about our Diamond membership!
It is very common for new users to think people they are playing against are cheating. This is because the skill level of the top players is often so high it can seem impossible to do some of the things they do.
Almost all the time it turns out that the person who thought someone was cheating didn't know certain tricks or strategy that can really help you out. Rather than jump to the conclusion that they are cheating we recommend you simply ask them how they do so well. Most players are happy to give a few pointers.
If you really feel someone is cheating, you should report it to the Admin team. They will be able to deal with the matter as they feel appropriate.
Policies on this matter vary from League to League. If you are unsure about your League's policy, please contact your Admin team and ask them what to do.
Click on the "Standings" tab on your League's navigation bar at the top of the page. The Report Loss link is located in the sub-menu.
Just fill in the blanks and then click on the 'Submit' button. Once the confirmation message comes up, you know you have reported your loss successfully and you are ready to go play another match!
We only provide technical support for our site. If you are having problems with your gaming service (i.e. Yahoo!, Pogo, Grab), you should contact their Customer Service department directly to have your questions answered.
We also recommend asking other League members for assistance. Most of the members are very happy to help other members when they are having technical problems.
Our MyLeague service has been created just for this purpose! Users can run their own MyLeagues for any game of their choice (as long as it is in accordance with the Terms of Use at http://www.myleague.com/my/terms.php). For more information, please visit http://www.myleague.com/.
You can submit any suggestions you have for the League to your Head Admin. Provided that your ideas are compatible with our site, they are the ones who will decide whether or not to implement them. If your idea is not compatible with our site, they also have the ability to suggest your idea to us as a new feature.
If you are having problems with your player account on a Case's Ladder, you can contact the LadderOp by clicking the "Contact Us" link under the "Support" heading on the left-side menu for that Ladder.
Visit http://www.casesladder.com/ to go to the Case's Ladder main page. From there, you can view the list of available Ladders and join one that you like.
Just like in the game of hockey, the penalty box is a way of taking someone out of the competition for violating the rules. During the period of time a player in the penalty box, that player cannot play in either regular or tournament play.
You cannot report losses or gain wins while you are in the penalty box, but others are still active and playing. Every time someone moves above you in rank, your account will slide down one rung as always.
It means that for three days from the time that the player was placed in the penalty box, that player cannot report losses nor can anyone report a loss to that player.
Contact your Admin Team and explain to them why you feel your placement in the penalty box is not justified. The Head Admin of a League has final say on all penalty box decisions.
You are allowed to have only one account on each League at any given time. If you are found to have multiple accounts, then you risk all accounts being removed.
Premium memberships are optional enhancements to your existing League account. By purchasing a premium membership, you help support the League and keep it free for everyone.
Our premium membership program offers three levels of membership, including Gold, Platinum, and Diamond (in ascending order of value). Features include a match history, extra LadderBux for a top tournament finish, immunity from being purged from the League for inactivity, and many more!
Premium members receive priority support. This means that we always answer mail from premium members FIRST before any others, so you get answers to your questions and problems faster than non-members.
Visit http://www.myleague.com/premium/ to find out more about premium memberships and for a full list of features.
The person purchasing the membership does not need to be the person participating on the Ladder or League. Many people purchase memberships for friends or have another person pay for the membership.
On the page that asks for the player name, enter the user name of the account on which the membership should be activated. On the payment pages, the information entered must be that of the person actually making the purchase.
You may also want to view our Gift Membership program that allows you to send a personalized Case's Ladder E-Card with your purchase!
You can purchase a Gold Membership, Yearly Platinum Membership, Six Month Diamond Membership or a Yearly Diamond Membership using our postal mail option. We can accept a personal check, a check linked to your credit card, or a money order in USD. It usually only takes about 10 business days from the time you mail it for the membership to be activated, depending on where you live. (We are sorry, but we cannot accept monthly payments using the postal mail option.)
When sending your order be sure to include your user name and the League or Ladder on which you play!
To access the purchasing options and order forms, please visit the "Buy Membership" link located on the sub-menu of the MyAccount tab.
We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. You can order any of our memberships with one of these credit cards via the "Buy Membership" link located on the sub-menu of the MyAccount tab.
We currently accept online checks from US accounts. (Unfortunately, we are unable to process online checks from outside the United States at this time.) You can order any of our memberships with an online check via the "Buy Membership" link located on the sub-menu of the MyAccount tab.
If you have a receipt with the transaction number for your purchase but do not see the membership on your account, this usually indicates that there was a problem activating the membership.
We can activate this membership on your behalf. Please use the Premium Support link located on the sub-menu of the Support tab to provide your purchase information.
If you need to change your billing information, please contact our billing office at (360) 419-7165 between 6 AM and 5 PM Pacific Time and we will be able to assist you.
If you click on the "My Account" tab in the top navigation menu, you will see a box on the left side of the page called "My Preferences." >From there, you will be able to choose to enable Instant Match Notification.
Gold members can transfer their Gold Membership to another Case's Ladder or MyLeague using "Gold Membership Transfer" tool. Your Gold Membership can be moved a maximum of once every 90 days.
The "Gold Membership Transfer" tool is located in the "My Options" section on the MyAccount tab. You must be logged in to view "My Options".
The 'target' is the Ladder or League to which you are transferring the Gold membership. You must already have a non-premium account on that Ladder or League.
Enter the path to that Ladder or League in the first field. In the next two fields, enter your user name and password for that Ladder or League. In the last field, enter the reason you wish to move your membership. Click "Transfer Membership". If all is successful you will be provided a link to the new Ladder or League!
Your LadderBux will not move with your Gold Membership in a transfer to a new league, as this is a feature reserved for our Platinum and Diamond members.
Memberships cannot be transferred to a family member or friend.
Gold members who wish to upgrade to Platinum membership receive a discount! You can upgrade to a monthly Platinum for just $9.95 per month and avoid the initial $24.95 activation fee. Or, you can upgrade to a yearly Platinum membership for just $89.95!
To make your purchase login on the league where you are currently a Gold member and click on "Buy Membership" in the sub-menu on the MyAccount tab to view your purchasing options. If you are currently a Gold member, choose the "Renew/Upgrade" option to receive the upgrade pricing.
At this time there is no price adjustment for a Diamond membership when you are an upgrading Gold Member. The regular cost for a Diamond membership is $19.95 per month.
When you cancel a monthly Platinum or Diamond Membership your account will downgrade to Gold for six months at no additional charge to you so your Gold is not lost.
A Gold membership is applicable to only one League or Ladder.
Platinum members may have up to FIVE Ladders covered by their membership and Diamond members may have up to TEN Ladders.
If you are a monthly subscriber, you are allowed to add one Ladder or MyLeague account to your Platinum or Diamond Membership every 30 days. You have 2 accounts available to use the first month and you will be able to add a third account after 60 days, then you can add another account every 30 days.
Members who upgrade to a monthly Diamond subscription from a yearly Platinum membership will have immediate access to all ten ladders. If you cancel before your original Platinum year expires, then up to five accounts will revert to Platinum.
When you first join the Platinum or Diamond membership program, only the account that was selected during the online process (or indicated on the mail-in form) are upgraded. This is because we don't know which of your other accounts that you might want to add to your membership. It is necessary for you to "turn on" Platinum or Diamond on your other accounts manually.
To add new Leagues, go to a Ladder or League on which you are currently a Platinum or Diamond member. After logging into your account, go to the "MyAccount" tab and then click on "Add League" listed under "My Options".
At the top of the "Platinum/Diamond Membership" screen it is indicated how many accounts you are eligible for and how long you must wait to add more.
You must be a member on the Ladder or League to which you want to add your Platinum or Diamond Membership, and the E-mail address must match that of your Platinum or Diamond account. This is so we can be sure it is your account. Please note that your user name does not have to match.
Please be aware this only applies to accounts which are yours and is intended for people who are participating on several ladders. (You cannot apply your Diamond Membership to accounts of your family or friends.)
No. A Platinum or Diamond membership is an individual account and may not be shared with friends or family. It is intended for people who are participating on several ladders.
A premium membership is individual, and non-transferable.
In order to transfer your LadderBux go to the MyAccount tab on the Ladder or League of your Platinum or Diamond account from which you wish to transfer the LadderBux from, and then click on the "Move LadderBux" link listed under "My Options". You can only move LadderBux between accounts that are registered to your membership.
100 Bux on each Ladder or League are non-transferable. The transferable amount will be listed beside the name of the Ladder/League. In the white box type the amount you wish to move to that particular league and then click the "Move" button.
You will then see "Transfer Successful!" and you're done!
Login to the league and then go to the "My Account" tab. In the submenu (the smaller items immediately below the tabs), you will see "LadderBux". Click on that and about halfway down the page you'll see the facility to use to Gift LadderBux to other users.
Enter the user name for the player you wish to gift and then the amount you are gifting to that player. You can include an optional note if you would like. The player will automatically be sent an E-mail notifying them of your gift.
The schedule for gifting LadderBux works on a sliding or rolling scale. Seven days after a gift has been given that amount is added back to the 'Total available to Gift' pot. This means the 'Total Available (2000/Platinum 10000/Diamond)' can change on a daily basis depending on the number and actual days since the gifting occurred. Gift 100 LadderBux today and one week from today you can gift 100 LadderBux again!
Don't worry; we keep track of this for you! On the page you will be told how many Bux you have gifted and how many you have available to gift. A full history of your previous gifts is displayed for you.
If you are a Diamond member you can gift a "trial" Gold membership to another user for a two-month period. Gifts can only be given to those who have never had a premium membership of any kind on their account.
To gift a Gold membership to another member, login into your account and go to the "MyAccount" tab. If you are a Diamond member, then the option to "Gift Gold Membership" will be listed under "My Options".
The 'cost' to you is 15000 LadderBux. You may choose the Ladder or League from the drop-down list or simply enter the path in the applicable field. Enter the name of the player to whom you are gifting the membership and if you would like, a personal message.
We offer 5 MB of free web space to our Platinum and Diamond members. You can create a personal homepage or simply use it as a place to store files on the web!
To create a User Homepage account or login to your existing User Homepage account, go to the "MyAccount" tab, and if you are a Platinum or Diamond member on the League, then the "User Homepage" option will be listed under "My Options".
All the Case's Ladder User Homepages begin with the address of http://users.igl.net/, followed by the account name of your homepage. You can choose any name you wish as long as it's not already taken. Type the account name you would like to have in the applicable field and click "Create Homepage".
Once you have created your homepage, the account name will be filled in automatically for you so that you can simply login to the file manager. Inside the file manager you will find an extensive "Help" section to get you started.
As a Diamond or Platinum Member you have the option to disable most advertisements on our site.
The option to turn advertisements on or off is located on the "MyAccount" tab in the "My Preferences" section. You must be logged in to use this feature.
(Notes: Most of the site will have ads turned off but some are beyond our control. We also reserve the right to display "premium" sponsorship ads. These are ads that will greatly help the site and enable us to do things like upgrade our servers!)
Diamond members are entitled to receive an E-mail each day with a list of all the upcoming tournaments on their Ladders or Leagues! By default, the list is turned on for you. However, if you wish to stop the E-mail or if you wish to only receive the list for some of your Leagues or Ladders, you can edit the options.
To edit the Tourney Mailing option, click on the "MyAccount" tab and the "Tourney Mailing" link will be listed in the "My Options" tab.
Platinum and Diamond members are entitled to a free @casesladder.com E-mail address. This E-mail address works by forwarding anything sent to your @casesladder.com E-mail to your 'real' E-mail account.
To create an @casesladder.com email address, click on the "MyAccount" tab and the "Email Address" link will be listed in the "My Options" tab.
In the first field type the account name you wish to use. It can be your player name but it does not have to be if you wish to use something else. In the second field, enter your real E-mail address, then click "Update Address". It can take up to an hour to activate your new @casesladder.com E-mail address.
Once you have created the address you can return to the "User Editor" and choose "Change User Information" to change your player E-mail to your @casesladder.com E-mail address.
To remove an account from your Platinum or Diamond membership, go to the "My Account" tab and "Remove League" will be listed in the "My Options" section.
Simply click the "Remove" button beside the Ladder or League you wish to remove from your membership.
Click the "Premium Support" link located in the sub-menu of the Support tab to submit your support request. Support mail submitted by Diamond members will be answered first, followed by Platinum members, Gold members, and then free members.
How much or IF your rank rises or falls is mainly based on the rank of the opponents you beat as long as you are an active player. You move up half the distance between your rank and the person's you defeat, so the higher ranked your opponent is the further you will move up the Ladder if you win the match.
In other words, you can have ten wins in a row, but if your opponents were all ranked close to or behind you your actual Ladder rank will not improve much. However, playing lower ranked opponents can increase other ratings such as the win percentage and skill rating, so there are still benefits to your overall status.
Please note that the percentage of rank gain may vary from League-to-League so you may not move up half the distance when you beat someone ranked better than you. Please contact the Admin team for the League if you have any concerns regarding your rank.
If you can't find your opponent listed on the League, try using the search utility located at the top of the League's page. Enter your opponent's username on the League, then choose "players" from the drop-down menu and click the "Go" button.
You should always note the name of the person you are playing, so that you can make sure to report losses in a timely manner.
E-mail is the only method of communication we have to get in touch with you. It is very important that you keep your e-mail address updated and accurate with us at all times.
Yes, but be sure that you are checking that e-mail account often. If someone accuses you of an unreported match or we need to get in touch with you, the e-mail will be sent to that address.
There have also been quite a few incidents of free mail accounts being 'hacked'. The number one mistake people make is to make their "password hint" too easy or a question that the answer to it IS that user's password. The bottom line is to be very careful when using free e-mail services, but that they are allowed.
Contact your Admin Team, and explain that you have not received your activation key and they will help you activate your account. Sometime the reason you don't receive your activation key is because you entered your e-mail address incorrectly when you signed up, so verify that you entered the correct e-mail and include it in your mail to them.
Yes, on most Leagues. The decision rests with the Head Admin of the League whether or not to require this. However, even if it's not required, it can be useful to at least have a similar name, so that people don't get confused as to who you are.
You should create your account on the gaming service first, since name choices are so limited there. Once you have an account at the gaming site, you can edit your username on the League by going to the "MyAccount" tab and clicking on the "Edit Username" link listed under "My Options".
Alternatively, you can try to make your gaming site username as similar as possible to your League username, provided that this does not break the rules of your League.
To join an existing team, the best procedure is to send an e-mail to the captain of the team.
You can also check the League forums, as some Leagues allow teams to ask for members in their forums.
Most teams have requirements and may ask you to play several games to observe your ability. If you aren't accepted onto a team, try others until you are accepted.
No, because each player can only belong to one team on the League at a time. If you are found on two teams you will be removed from both of them and the teams will be penalized.
Captains should always check that new recruits are not members of other teams.
Captains can access the "Add/Remove" tool, which is located in the "Resource" area of the left-hand menu of your Team Ladder's page. The players you want to add must already be registered on the Ladder.
You can view a list of the eligible players by clicking the "Standings" link located under "The Ladder" heading on the left-hand menu of your Team Ladder's page.
If you are the captain of a team, you may edit your team's information by clicking the "Team Editor" link under the "Team Functions" heading on the left-hand menu of your Ladder's page.
A tournament is a short-term competition with a scheduled beginning and a specific end. Players may register to play in a tournament on any League for which they are registered. When the tournament begins, each player is paired up with an opponent (or more than one opponent, depending on the format of the tournament.) Tournaments can be for "LadderStats," in which case the results are reported to the Ladder on which the tournament was played.
For a complete list of tournaments for your Ladder or League, visit the Tournament Calendar located on the 'Tournaments' tab. You can access the page for a specific tournament by clicking on the jump number. Once you have selected the tournament you would like to join, the information for that tournament will be listed under the 'Tournament Info' heading.
A team tournament is any tournament in which there is more than one person on each team in a match.
The captain of the team (the first person registering) has to create and name the team. The captain will then create a team password that the other team members can use to join the correct team when registering for the tournament.
When you click the 'Register' link on a tournament page, detailed instructions will show up on the page to clarify any further questions you may have.
To register for a one-vs-one tournament, click on the 'Tournaments' tab and go to the Tournament Calendar section. You can access the page for a specific tournament by clicking on the jump number.
On a tournament's main page, click the 'Register' link and fill out the form to register for the tournament.
All tournaments are listed in Eastern U.S. Time. Check-in for the tournament will open approximately 30 minutes prior to the start time. If you have registered for the tournament prior to check-in being opened you will have to return to the tournament page to check-in.
The loser (or losing team) reports a tournament loss by clicking the 'Report' link on a tournament page and then filling out the form on the page.
If a tournament is 'LadderStats,' matches will be automatically reported to the Ladder on which the tournament was held after the tournament is completed.
On a tournament page you will see all of the pertinent information listed under the 'Tournament Info' heading, including the location of the tournament. If you have any additional questions or problems on the location, you should contact the Tournament Director for help.
If a tournament is listed as a 'LadderStats' tourney, as most are, it indicates that the results from the matches played in that tournament are automatically posted to the Ladder at the end of the tournament, so do not attempt to report the loss yourself manually to the Ladder.
All tournament times are listed in Eastern Time. To find out what time it is now in Eastern Time, look at the Tournament Time listing, located just above the "Play Now" button on your League's page.
A LadderBux Calculator is located on the "Prizes" link on each tournament page. The LadderBux calculator can be used to calculate how many LadderBux the top finishers would win in a particular tournament.
The LadderBux entry fee isn't withdrawn from your account until the tournament has been completed and closed by the Tournament Director, so this should not be a problem.
If the standings bracket doesn't load, try reloading or refreshing the page. If that doesn't work, try closing your browser and loading the tournament page again. If you're still experiencing the problem after that, then try clearing your cache or cleaning out your temporary Internet Files.
If none of the above solutions takes care of your problem, then ask the Tournament Director to let you know who your opponent is.
Tournament Directors (TDs) are volunteers who actually create and administer tournaments. TDs are provided with a given set of tournament system utilities that allow them to perform their duties. TDs work closely with the Head TDs on their League so that they are aware of the overall tournament setup and specific tournament rules on that Ladder. The TDs responsibilities include scheduling tournaments, administering tournaments to ensure that they run smoothly and finish in a timely manner, and settling any match disputes that occur during tournaments.
Tournament Directors are volunteers who donate their time to the League, managing tournaments in order to make things more fun for everyone participating. They are not paid any money for their time, so it is important to remember that and show them the respect and appreciation they are due for all of their time and effort!
In an attempt to show our gratitude to the TDs for all of their hard work, we do reward them with LadderBux for hosting tournaments.
Head TDs are the second level tier in our Tournament program. Overall, they act as the general tournament system coordinator on their League. The Head TDs are responsible for keeping the TDs on their team organized and united towards the end goal of all TDs: keeping the League and Tournaments fun and fair for everyone participating. Their duties mainly consist of coordinating the Tournament Directors on their League so that the tournament schedule runs smoothly and keeps the players' options open for plenty of tournament competition.
TD Manager is a position for Official Case's Ladders. There is no equivalent for MyLeagues, because the Head Admin has all of the necessary TD Manager powers on their Head TD account.
Unfortunately, there is a waiting list to become a Tournament Director on most Leagues. If you want more details about how long you will be on the waiting list, you should contact your Admin team.
If you are interested in becoming a Tournament Director go to the 'Tournaments' tab and in the sub-menu you will find the link for the "TD Application".
Why are you doing this redesign?
Our previous site design was created in 1999, and the Internet and web design have come a long way since then. While our layout was at one time considered efficient and modern, it is falling more and more behind the times.
We wanted to give our site a facelift, to make it more visually appealing for everyone, as well as easier to navigate for our users. This redesign gave us the opportunity to do this, as well as to create new and exciting features for all of our users.
