Hello Eagles, we have some exciting matches coming in October!  We will be starting our very first

TEAM CUP Tourneys.  Members who want to be placed on a Team Cup team need to contact  Sherry (cribgoof) at cribgoof@yahoo.ca 

 

Members will be placed randomly on teams.  Each time a Team Cup member wins a tourney, 1 point will go to their team.  There will also be a special Team Cup tourney each day.  For every win in this tourney, the player will recieve 1 point for their Team Cup team, byes are not considered wins.  Winner of the Team Cup tourney will recieve 4 points for their team, second place player will recieve 2 points for their team.   The hosting TD will also recieve 1 point for their team. 

 

At the end of each month, the 2 teams with the most points play off in the finals and winning team will get their Team Logo posted on the Main League page for the next entire month.  Make sure you ask to be placed on a team.

 

In the coming months, we will also be having a King and Queen Tourney.  This is a special tourney played outside of the regularly hosted tourneys.  Pairings will be posted on the tourney page and players registered will need to contact their opponent and set up a time for them to play.  Matches are to be played in Intermediate 2 lounge, but are not part of existing tourneys. Players will be given 4 days to complete their match, but they can play the matches in the next round before being posted if they are available.

 

Going for Gold tourneys will be starting in October.   The Going for Gold tourney will be hosted once a week, for 12 weeks.  The winners of the Going for Gold tourneys will be invited to a special tourney to play off for a years gold membership in Eagles.  Helen is generously donating the membership.  Those who already have a membership can still play, and if they win, can give the membership to whoever they choose in Eagles.
