WE ARE ASKING ALL DRAGONS TO PLEASE READ LEAGUE RULES AGAIN

~*~*~*~ ADULT ADVISORY ~*~*~*~

THIS IS AN ADULTS LEAGUE (If you have joined DDzz and you are under 18 years old, you will need parental permission.)

Failure to read these RULES is no excuse for not following The Dysfunctional Dragons Policies. Ignorance is NOT bliss.

Remember, All Admin and TDs are volunteers for this league. They give of their time to create an environment where you can come to relax, have fun, laugh and enjoy. Please understand that they are human and are not perfect. Each and every one of them own the tourney they run. Any complaints regarding a tourney please take to the TD that hosted said tourney. Host can call upon an Admin if needed.

The following are necessary to ensure the integrity of the ladder / league. If you have any issues with these rules, you have two choices: either leave the ladder or don't play in tournaments. All rules are final and not open for discussion. Any one found to be breaking any of these rules will be removed from the Dysfunctional Dragons league. There will be no exceptions. Rules are subject to change at the discretion of the Dysfunctional Dragons Administration staff.

~*~*~*~ TOURNAMENT SCHEDULED ~*~*~*~
Time is posted on the calendar. The host makes every attempt to start tournament ON time and certainly within 10 minutes of posted start time. However, due to new players joining, full rooms and many other circumstances, the tournament might be delayed. If you are unable to enter a room or are absence at your table once pairs are given, a 10 minute boot timer will be started so that you may return to the tournament.

~*~*~*~ DDZZ BEHAVIOR ~*~*~*~
Sportsmanship - This is one of the most important things to us here at DDzz. We are here to have fun, relieve stress, laugh and make new friends. While there is competition in the ladder and in tournaments, good sportsmanship and courteous behavior is mandatory. Creating a stressful environment is not acceptable in the League.
Good Sportsmanship is defined in many different ways. For our league, we hope that all DDzz would say hi, good luck (gl), good game (gg), thank you (ty) and etc. but we can not force it upon anyone to do so. If you enter a game and your opponent says nothing, do not take it personally or as an insult. Some people are intense players and not talkers. Chatting is not mandated. Rude comments are never acceptable. If you enter a game and say good luck and do not get a response, please just play the game.
We believe ...to each his own. Meaning, do not force your personality on another and do not take it as an insult if they are different than you.
Keep the arguments out of the lobby and out of the game. Keep derogatory comments to yourself. If you are upset with POGO, send a message to them. Do not take it out on your fellow players. Any information of a personal nature that should not be shared publicly does not need to be discussed at the table and certainly NOT in the lobby. Please realize we all have different personalities within this League and you will form your own group of friends. Do not chastise another member because you do not understand them or care for them. This includes those players who are not talkative. No one is required to speak.
Discussion of issues or complaints, in lobby or at a table, with other DDzz, is a violation of DDzz Policy.
Any League member that has an issue with another member is strongly encouraged to work it out between yourselves first. If for some reason this can not be done then please contact Admin for assistance. Do not be surprised if the two of you are asked to join them in a room and work it out together, with the Admin being the mediator.
Admin will not respond to any third party communications. It is well known that conversations can get blown out of proportion from hear say. Therefore, we, as Admin, will only deal with the parties involved. We do understand you will make friends and vent, complain or just bitch, that is human nature. We also, are not going to explain our actions to anyone other then the person(s) involved with the incident.
All members and staff should be polite to one another but ALSO to any members of another league, that may be in our rooms. If someone is being rude, remember to please ignore that person or mute them.
Let's have fun... let's not make this into work ...and remember each of us have our own stories.

~*~*~*~ RANKING ~*~*~*~
All Players on The Dysfunctional Dragons league MUST play in tournaments or Ladder Matches to stay active.
When you first join League, you start with zero points. You can move up the ranks by winning Tournaments or Ladder Matches in the League. You must play 20 games in the League before you will be ranked. You can then go to main page, click on DDzz Standings and see where you fall in the ranking of the League. You have several choices on the top of the page as to how you would like to view the rankings.
You must ladder at least once every 3 days or you will lose rungs within the ladder. Understand everyone wants to sit on top of the Ladder. However, the number one Ranked Dragon does not have to play continuously. If you are asked for a ladder, you should honor the request. If you are not available at that time to play, schedule a mutual time when you can play.

~*~*~*~ VIOLATION OF POLICIES ~*~*~*~
Any violation of the policies listed above can result in suspension or termination from the League.

3 Day Suspension from DDzz:
Disruption of a tournament. (1st offense)
Abuse or harassment of a fellow DDzz. (1st offense)

7 Day Suspension from DDzz:
Abuse of any DDzz Admin or TD. (1st offense)
Abusive email to DDzz Admin or TD (1st Offense)
Disruption of a tournament. (2nd offense)
Any offense in a 6 month period and this is your 2nd offense, but of a different nature, and does not warrant a higher suspension length.

30 Day Suspension from The DDzz:
Abuse of any DDzz Admin or TD. (2nd offense)

Permanent Suspension from DDzz:
Any 3rd offense for the same violation.
Creation of more than one account.
Cheating of any kind.

OUR DDZZ SPECIAL TOURNEYS
MARATHONS BY BASYYY
Winning the MOST tours when playing Marathons will be awarded 5 GEMS. Those gems will be put into a BANK account.
IF a TIE FOR WIN should happen, then a tie breaker will be who WON THE MOST MATCHES for that Marathon
IF no clear winner, then gems will be SPLIT

Gems will be accumulated until enough to purchase a desired item from Mini Mall, a Mix & Match badge or a Badge Album.
Monthly Statements will be sent out to show available gem balance.
MUST REMAIN AN ACTIVE PLAYER IN LEAGUE OR YOUR GEMS WILL BE FORFEITED.

Tour Host
YES! We are looking to expand our Staff. If you can host 3 tours a week or more, we would love to have you join our great staff. We just ask that you host within 21 days to prevent being dropped to a member again. DDZZ likes to have our Host, Active (Not Active-Exempt), to give the Members more chances to play. If you are willing to host or interested in giving it a try, the TD applications are available 24/7. The link to the application is on the league page under tournament tab.

Cheating with Auto's
DDzz will not tolerate the use of any cheat programs or helpers. If suspected, you could be removed and banned from league and we definitely don't want that.

Tournament Spam
We do ask that if you would like to be included in tournaments and receive our invites, that you have an IM service. If you are not getting messages for tournaments, please contact a host and give them your IM ID to be added to Spam list.
However, if you are receiving tournament invites and would rather not get them, please let us know and we will put you on our No Spam list. That way if we are short one or two jumpers for a given tournament, we may send you an IM and ask you if you would care to join us.

Jumping Tours & Being Purged
We wish for all members to remain active in the league so that you do not get purged. Again, we definitely don't want that to happen, so please check the tour calendar occasionally and jump for a tour in one of your favorite games. Also remember to arrive to any tourney you register for at least 5 minutes before start time --- that way we can start on time if we have enough jumpers registered. We do not run rules in lobby, so please read them when registering. If you have a question about anything just ask your Host. Finally, if you are in one tournament and want to join the next tournament, you must wait until the tournament you are in, finishes. That way it doesn’t cause any problems with the next tournament starting.

Birthdays, Anniversaries & Favorite Games
We here at DDzz love birthdays and anniversaries. But, our birthday and anniversary page needs to be updated. So, please send in any birthdays and anniversaries that you would like added, to any Admin.
