General Rules:
Game Reporting Order:
Game Play: Game play is restricted to either a 9, 12 or 18 hole match. There are no double report matches allowed on this ladder. For example, players can not settle on a 9 hole match then decide to continue the same match for another report. If you wish to play a second match, restart a new game to do so. If such matches are played, no second report will be mandatory. In other words: do not complain to us if you don't get your second report for that game. This is to benefit all players on the ladder so that fair play can be maintained and all players of all ranks can earn a decent chance to move up in rank and play in the top 20. There are no exceptions to this rule. Honest.
Game Settings Specific to this ladder:
Formal Challenges: A formal Challenge must be played as soon as possible within the timeframe set by the ladder and at a time agreed upon by both players. All rules under the general rules for ladders also apply, however a formal challenge will always take precidence over any other match UNLESS it is within 24 hours of a title match match involving one or more of the players, In this case only, the formal may be played during or immediately after the title match.
Title Games: Title Matchs are to be played set at level 3 basic setting ( No If and or Buts About It )
Title Games Continued: Under no circumstances are the top 4 ranked players allowed to play report matches on the day of a title match that could alter the top 4 spots removing one of the players from there until after the event has passed. This means if you play a match with some one ranked at 8 or above and report to them causing other top 4 players to drop in rank, you will be penalized and dropped in rank accordingly. Games with those ranked 15 or above are acceptable. Sudden Death Matches: In Sudden Death match play, please note that it is not mandatory to play sudden death if the game ends in a tie. If a sudden death match is agreed upon by all sudden death players, it is deemed a game and must continue until one of these players win the next hole. If a party does not agree to play on then the match remains a tie and no report is expected between the tied players in the match. However should there be an agreement to play on and a shot is taken by each of the players involved, the game must continue until there is a winner declared and the loser must report the match loss before the next game is played. Sudden Death matches between Top 10 players are 9 holes.
