| General Rules:
PLEASE NOTE: If you are entering a GTGOldtimers tournament, please note the following: #1 - Have your router issues fixed! If it is your turn to host and you cannot, you may be disqualified from the tournament. #2 - Please note HTD or TD has the final say. If a ruling is made and you disagree with the call, talk to the HTD or TD after the tournament is completed. Although the current tournament decision cannot be overturned, your civil discussion can persuade the director to adjust his ruling for the next tournament if he agrees with your opinion. DO NOT DISCUSS IT in open chat. It serves everyone better if it is done privately and civil afterwards. #3 - Please check in before the scheduled tournament start time, you have an half hour grace period before the tournament starts to check in, this is not intended to be extended 15 or 20 minutes after the start time. Do not expect the TD or HTD to wait until your ready to show up, if you are not there when the tourney is ready to go, it is not the TD or HTD's fault, its yours. DON'T BLAME THE TD's when you fail to show up in time. Would you show up to work late and expect to keep your job time after time? I think not, it's the same for our tournies, its not fair to make others wait while your chatting elsewhere. If you expect to play, then please show up on time. The TD's have been instructed to get the tournies off on time or cancel the tourney if there is not enough to play it, these guys are giving up their free time to host these things for all of us, lets show them the respect they deserve for giving their free time to us. If you think it's such an easy volunteer job, then I suggest you give it a try and apply to be a TD. I guarantee you will find it's not as easy as you think it is. So in short, RESPECT the TD's the way you would like to recieve the same level of respect and have some fun at the same time. Do that, and everyone goes home happy ![]() |
