Howdy all you Happytimers! :-)  

We know! It's been a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGG time since we have had a tourney :-( but a few of us are hoping to get our league up and running strong again. If you are interested in participating in ANY capacity (hosting tourneys, contacting members to let them know we are playing in the Bistro again, helping schedule special tournaments, playing in tourneys, etc.), please let sweet_happytime_angel know by sending her an IM in Yahoo! Messenger even if she's not online.

We are looking for members who would like to join our staff as Tournament Directors (TDs) and hope some of you are interested in working your way up through our system to become managers (Administrators) in Happytime. We will provide all the training you need, of course, so we hope that you will all least give it some consideration. It really doesn't take a lot of time to become a TD and host a couple tournaments a week. In addition to that, it's a lot of fun seeing tournaments from the "other side" and it's a great way to improve your playing skills. At this point we are hoping to find at least 4 members who are willing to become TDs and host a minimum of 2 tournaments a week. If you are willing and able to participate, please contact sweet_happytime_angel and let her know. :-)

Right now we are hoping to host about 10 tournaments each week until we get more staff on board to assist us. In addition we plan to put our tournaments on the calendar ahead of time to make it easier for you to plan when to play and/or host.

During July we will celebrate getting Happytime up and running again by hosting at least one 24-hour marathon of tournaments for you. Our TDs will be giving away some extra bux throughout the tournaments as well as hosting some cool new games for you. We are creating a list of all the games we play in Happytime; it will include the game rules so you can understand how the game is played BEFORE you register for the tournament. Check out the list and if you want to play one, just ask any of the TDs to host it for you. They will happily host it for you or find someone who can. All our games are listed on our "Games Page". Take a look around there and if there are other games you want to play, just submit a request, being sure to include the rules if it's a game we don't have listed. Our goal here at Happytime is to increase the fun you have playing the awesome game of spades. :-)
