Effective immediately, all TDs are going to focus on all tourneys starting on time, including tournaments that are scheduled to begin before a previous tourney ends. It is more important than ever to make sure you are registered early for any tourney you want to play, or you could be left out of a tournament. This includes making sure that your P is also registered in advance, or your (incomplete) team could be dropped from a tournament. We don’t want to exclude people from playing tournaments, but out of consideration for players who register early and are ready to play at scheduled start time, we are cracking down on last-minute registrations. If you are joining a 2v2 tournament within a few minutes of scheduled start time and do not have a P, please join on Auto. We will do our best to find another Auto quickly, but we will drop an uneven Auto if we can’t find another player to join and it’s holding up a tournament. TDs always appreciate the folks who are willing to join as a last-minute Auto when needed! Kudos to those of you who do that – we sincerely thank you! The best way to ensure that you are not left out is to always find a P ahead of time, have both players registered, checked in, and in the lobby BEFORE scheduled start time. We hope that our on-time starts will make our tournaments a better experience for everyone - TDs and players alike!
