Please make sure that you have read the League RULES!! CASE's has rules and then individual Leagues set Standing Rules.
Sign up to OUR League is FREE. Your League Name should be the SAME as your POGO Name. There are exceptions ~ i.e. if you have a premium membership with a similar name.
Your EMAIL Address must be current. When you register, you will receive an activation code that you must enter to complete your registration process. If you don't receive it, please check your spam folder otherwise let one of the HOSTS know that you didn't receive it so that your account can be made active by the Admin.(All League correspondence will be sent to that email address ~ this includes the League emails, Buxs notices, player stats, and other information. If you need to change your email address you may do so by going to "My Account" ~ then go to "edit email address" tab.)
Please check as many of the boxes as possible when you join the League so that you will receive more Buxs. The use of Buxs are like Pogo's Tokens. You use them to register for tournaments. You may also use them at the Case's Store to purchase items. (Please note: If you run low on Buxs, let the Admin know ~ they will arrange for you to be gifted some. Our League wants you happy and playing in tournaments. To check the amount of Buxs that you have, it will be shown below your name and password block on the right hand side of the screen.)
There are several ways to register for a tournaments. 1) Towards the bottom of the main page is the daily calendar showing the tournaments set for the day. Run your mouse over the HOSTS name and it will show you the game room that the tournament will be held. You can click on it and a screen will pop up so that you can register for this event. 2) Enter the Jump # given to you by the HOST. This is located under your Name/Password on the top right hand side of the main page. It will bring up the register screen. (Please note that you must click on ~ Register then enter your name, password, click on Read Rules and register. If you are jumping into a tournament that you are already registered ~ i.e. TOC, Top 50 ~ for then you must Check-In ~ click on Check-In then highlight your name in the drop down box and enter your password. You will not have to click on the Read Rules box.)
Per Case's RULES, each player is allowed
one account only . Multiple accounts will be kicked.
There are several things that Case's looks for in duplicate accounts: 1) same passwords, 2) same email addresses and 3) same I. P. computer codes. (Please note that at times Case's will review this and do the KICKING.)
If a TD is running a tournament with rules that differ from the default rules, then the HOST will list the game specifics prior to starting the tournament or it will be listed on the register page for all players to read prior to registering for the tournament.
Players that do not intend on playing in a tournament should never register or check-in for that tournament. Minimum tournament requirements is 4 players. If the minimum requirement is not met, then the tournament should be moved or canceled.
Fortune Bingo ~ If the bingo bonus drops below 200 tokens during a tournament, a player that hits the gong will add 150 points to their actual score. The rational behind this is that we have no control of players entering or leaving the room. It is not fair to one player to hit the gong with 50 bingo bonus tokens and another player hit the gong with 200 bingo bonus tokens during the same round.
Members that live in the same household may play in the same tournament, but they must register from their own computers.
Sharing passwords is a violation of CASE's policies. You should never ever give anyone your password - for any reason. If you are having problems registering for a tournament, please use the "Lost Password" link located on the "My Account" tab to get the correct password.
Any disputes, whether it is personal or
has something to do with the League, are to be taken to a private
chat. Disputes are never to be
held in the main chat.
If
any current member, boxed members
, banned members
or non
-members
cause disruptions in main chat, then all members are
expected to mute
, if League Members so desire or feel the need, they may also report them.
ONLY the HOST or ADMIN present should be the person talking to players causing any disputes. IF possible, that HOST or ADMIN will try to take that person to private chat for further discussion. PLEASE NOTE: If the HOST is in private chat, this may mean the tournament COULD BE DELAYED until this matter is taken care of. League Members found arguing in the main could be boxed
, have additional boxing or banned.
League members will be respectful at all times to
HOSTS, and other players (members
/ non
-member
).
Please remember the HOSTS give their free time and are NOT paid to give these tournaments
. Pay attention to the HOSTS, when they are setting the rules at the beginning the tournament, giving the pairs and telling you when to start. JUST because YOU didn't see them state to start NOW is NO excuse for the tournament to be DELAYED.
Cheating will not be tolerated in any way, shape or form. All
allegations brought to the attention of the
HA will be fully investigated. If any evidence is found
that a player has cheated during
a tournament, those players WILL be removed
and BANNED from the League immediately.
Decisions are made collectively by Case's Rules, Pogo Rules and by Standing Rules SET BY THIS LEAGUE. Any actions taken to enforce these rules are final and will not be reversed.
