Hello and welcome to the Island Getaway
If you are ready to play please come into http://nidink.com Click on Leagues and scroll to enter Island Getaway lobby and let a TD know you just joined us and you would like to get into a tourney, OR go to the main page and scroll down to the the calendar and click on the tourney you would like to play in. This is where you will need to register. Be sure that you are in the Island Getaway lobby 5 minutes before the scheduled start time of the tourney. Click "Play here" on any tourney page or Click on Dolphins to go directly to Island Getaway Lobby from the main page.
Also, keep in mind that we play many different rules. It is your responsibility to read the rules before playing in a tourney. You will find the rules tab at the top of each tournament page. It is helpful when playing to keep the tourney page open so you may keep track of the standings.
All tourneys except the 3 pm are pick your partner and auto team locator. Check the teams tab on the tourney page to see your partner.
The first person on the first team called is the one responsible for setting the table.
There is a sample on how to set the table on each of the rules pages. When you set make sure to invite each player by name (again, you will find these when you look at "teams" on the tourney page) for instance if the host says mofi//david---mom//barb, I would be responsible for setting and would do so then announce in the lobby "David, Mom and Barb tbl 3" Please note that we do not use the same table twice in a tour.
When the match is over all players should report the win in the lobby thusly mom-barb///mofi-david. Winners first, losers second.
We here at the Island do not use the same table twice. So when you set, avoid a table that has already been used during that tour or the host will ask you to change it.
Please remember to thank the TD for hosting. It is because of their volunteer work that we are allowed to play.
Lastly.. if you have an issue with someone please take it to a table or ask an admin or TD for help. We pride ourselves on being a "no drama" league and will not tolerate it in the lobby.
