this is a post i have thought about for a while now and i am going to try to find the words to put my thoughts down. I have played canasta online for over 10 years now. i have hosted 4722 tournaments for this league alone. my heart is no longer in it. this past Wednesday made me certain this is the right decision for me. my best friend died while i was hosting tournaments. i was unable to leave to go to the hospital because this was my first commitment. life passed me by. most of you probably do not even know this happened to me because after being online and hosting all this time i feel i have no friends online anymore. i have told this to Abby on more then one occasion. so i will come online and play when i feel i have the time but i can no longer host tournaments,that time is better spent with the people that love me. so Abby please remove me from staff as i am unable to host, indefinitely.
thank you all for supporting me in this decision as i am sure you will.

  Sunshine, I for one will miss you very much. You were always there to cover for me when I was unable to host. I consider you a true friend and hope that we can remain friends and that from time to time you will IM me to chat with you. I am so very sorry for the loss of your best friend and pray for her family and you. Love you mello_7593

    Sunshine....i for one will miss your patience, loyalty and friendship. We have been thru alot these 5 years and I do consider you a friend. I have lost soo many family and friends in the past few years.....it gets to the point you realize death is part of life. We are born to die and and hope the time between birth and death brings us and others happiness. I hope after some time off you will consider coming back with our family.
