League Rules
1. Have fun!! This league was formed so that people could get together for some fun and laughs.
2. League Members are expected to treat all members of the staff, league and other pogo players in the room with respect at all times.
3. Under no circumstances will arguing or fighting in the lobby be tolerated. Unacceptable behavior may include, but is not limited to, swearing, name calling, sexual innuendoes, expressions of violence or discriminatory comments of any kind. Failure to follow the foregoing standard will result in a warning for the first offence, banning/boxing for 3 days for the second offence and removal from the league for a third offence. Offences will be reviewed on an individual basis.
4. If any league member has a problem with anything taking place during a tournament, it should be taken up in private with the tournament director. If the matter cannot be resolved to a player's satisfaction during a tournament, the player should take the matter up with one of the administrative staff. Administrative staff are very approachable, so please do not hesitate to seek them out if you have questions, problems, etc. They will gladly help in any way that they can.
5. Tournament directors will not "jump" players into any tournament. It is the responsibility of individual players to register for tournaments. Players having a problem doing this for any reason should inform any tournament director or one of the administrative staff and they will attempt to ascertain and correct the problem.
6. Players should arrive at least five minutes prior to any tournament in which they have jumped. Failure to show up by the scheduled time of the tournament may result in a player being removed from the tournament.
7. This is a no replay league. While we understand the frustration of players being booted, losing their internet connection, etc., we cannot replay a match once it has started. The tournament director may, at their discretion, hold a tournament up for a round if a player is booted at the very beginning of play. In addition, if a player is booted near the end of a round of play, the tournament director may, at their discretion, hold a "break" game in order to allow time for the affected player to return.
8. All players are required to report winner//loser at the end of each round of play unless it is a timed match where token counts are given. Timely reporting by both players is expected. In the event of a dispute, every effort will be made by the host to determine the outcome of a match. Should both players fail to report, the host shall either declare a winner (having witnessed the results) or the win will be awarded to the player with the highest rank. In the event that both opponents of a match are booted or disqualified, the win will be awarded to the player with the highest rank..
Other Information
THE LEAGUE OF FRIENDS is just that - a group of friends who have formed a league to have fun together playing our favorite pogo games. The league is in its infancy, having been born on March 31, 2008. SxyLdy121702, the HA, was our first member; she was quickly followed by straitcowgirl200, kellie12754, agoldencomet and comet. We have quickly grown to twenty-six active players and several more new members. As you can see from our backdoors we already offer a good variety of games and have more coming soon. Members should write to any of the admin to let us know if you have a favorite game to add. Also let us know what times you would like us to offer tours. We are open to any suggestions. Thank you all for your support and we look forward to having a great time together!
