Myleague has added a new feature!!!

They have added a private messaging system for each league.  Here is how they are describing this change: The programmers have made two major updates to the site today.

The first is a security adjustment that will help increase the privacy of you, the members. Up until today, every player's E-mail address was visible whenever they registered for a tournament, and every player's E-mail address was visible through the old version of the "Find Player" tool.

The programmers have updated both of these locations so that E-mail addresses are no longer displayed on MyLeague in any way. This should help protect all users' privacy. E-mail addresses will continue to be displayed in the "Edit User" tool for Admins, so that they can assist players as needed, but the E-mail addresses will no longer be displayed openly for everyone.

The second change is the addition of a "Private Messaging" tool. This tool will allow any player to contact any other player on their own League, without having to know their e-mail address or instant message information.
You may have already noticed the "New Messages" link, located in the navigation bar, next to your LadderBux total. If you click this link, it will take you to the Private Messaging page, where you can get started using the tool.

Here are a few more things you should know:

Read messages will be kept for 30 days and unread messages will be kept for 60 days. After that, they are automatically purged from the Inbox.

Additionally, messages in your Sent mailbox will be purged after 30 days. If you wish to save messages for longer than this, you will need to copy and paste them to a word processor and save them to your hard drive.

To help protect against Private Messaging spamming, users will only be able to send messages to one person at a time.

Additionally, it is only possible to send messages to people in your own League.

If a user on the League is abusing the Private Message function, the Admin team will decide how best to proceed -- either by placing the user in the Penalty Box, kicking them, banning them, or taking some other disciplinary action.

Each individual user can also add any other user to their personal "Blacklist," which means that the blacklisted sender will be unable to send any more private messages to that user. This will allow users to have specific control over who can send them messages.

Finally, it should be noted that it is a violation of the Terms of Use to use Private Messaging to recruit players for other Leagues, harass other players, or send unsolicited commercial e-mails.
