When i joined magikaldice as a td, about half the tourneys on the calendar were regular paint, and i loved it. That was probably the biggest factor in my decision to host for magikal. Now there are rarely any reg paint tourneys unless it is for a special tourney, such as the BOS or TD vs Players. When i brought this up in the td meeting i was told that people can play reg paint whenever they want. While this is true, unless you can find a ladder, you have to deal with quitters in non league games. I personally won't play non league games, just because i won't deal with the quitters.

There are quite a few players that go from league to league looking for reg paint tourneys. So in my opinion, more reg paint tourneys mean more players involved with the league. I am not asking for 100% of the tourneys to be reg paint, i understand that variety adds spice to life. But some of us hate the formatted tourneys and won't play in them at all.

You can be sure that when i host, it will be reg paint, or maybe reg triple. Now i am begging... Please set more regular tourneys. You will see a lot more of me in the lobby if there are more regular tourneys. Although maybe that is why there isn't more, lmao.
