MONOPOLY TEAMS 2 VS 2

In Monopoly Teams 2 vs. 2, teammates work together to obtain money and property for their team as a whole.  All decisions regarding trading with opponents, mortgaging properties, and purchasing houses and hotels should be discussed and agreed upon before any action is taken.  Team mates may trade both money and properties between them in order to obtain the highest total net worth for their team as a whole.  Total team net worth is determined by adding total net worth of both team members.  In the event that a player gets booted, subs are allowed at the Tournament Director’s discretion.  If there isn’t an sub readily available, and the booted player is replaced by a computer player, only that player’s team mate may trade with the computer, or bid on any properties the computer may auction.  Failure to follow these rules could result in disqualification of a team. 

CUT THROAT MONOPOLY

Cut Throat Monopoly is a 1 vs. 1 vs. 1 game, and is always played with the same specific table settings.  The first round may be 1 vs. 1, depending on the number of players registered.  This insures 3 players at the final table.  The first rounds are played with a 45 turn limit, and begin with 2 properties for each player.  The final round is played with no limits, and starts with no properties.  The final round must end before .  If final table is still playing at , winner is determined by highest net worth at that time.  Subs can be used at Tournament Director’s discretion, but for no longer than 5 minutes.  If a booted player doesn’t return within 5 minutes, a forfeit must be given.   Players are not allowed to trade with computers, nor are they allowed to bid on any properties the computer may auction.  Players are also not allowed to give away properties, before going bankrupt.

Tables will be private, and the TD will set the Password.

TWIST MONOPOLY

Twist Monopoly is a 1 vs. 1 game with each variation, having specific “twisted” rules.   The Tournament Director chooses the twist, and then sets the table options to accommodate the specific twist they have chosen.  Rules and settings for each tournament will be listed in the tournament message.  If you have questions about the twist, please ask the Tournament Director for clarification.  Players are not allowed to trade with computers, and no subs are allowed in 1 vs. 1.  If a player is booted, the other player is expected to pause the game until the player returns, or the Tournament Director says otherwise.
