Code of Conduct
1. As a member of MTP, you represent the league, your admin staff and yourself at all times. Misconduct in game rooms or lobbies makes us ALL look bad and therefore will NOT be tolerated. Therefore we have adopted a set of guidelines that should be adhered to at all times. Some of these are listed below.

2. Fighting and Drama in a game lobby or table is completely unacceptable. If you are having a problem with another member, PLEASE seek out a staff person to help you; in most cases this can be taken to a private table or other format to be talked about or resolved. Failure to adhere to this could result in disciplinary action.

3. Remember, WE are all the "face" of our league. Members and staff should handle themselves with some degree of mannerism. We are here to play and make some friends in the process. Some people may not think that "nonmembers" in the game rooms don’t matter, but they see how we are at all times and it reflects upon each and every one of us not just as a league, but as a person in general.

4. When you are called to a table please try to get there as soon as possible. This will help keep things running in a timely manner and thus will make things go a bit smoother during game play. In some cases, people may have connection problems or an unexpected problem may come up. If that is the case, please make an effort to notify your Host. If you are not able see if someone can do that for you.

5. There is generally a 3 minute time limit from the time you are called to a table. If you don’t arrive by this time, the host may place you on a 7 minute timer; if that timer expires before you arrive you will be "timed out" and the match forfeited.

6. If you register for a tournament, it is your responsibility to ensure you arrive prior to the start of the tournament, under no circumstances will a member of staff call to see where players are. If in a teams tournament a sub will be assigned to the game to play, if there are no subs available your team may be placed on a timer.

7. One of the things we try to make sure of here at MTP is that every member and staff person deserves respect no matter what the issue or problem may be. Harassment or "Bashing" WILL NOT be tolerated and could result in disciplinary action up to and including removal from the league. Please if you have a personal issue with another player try to do your best to take it private or ask for some help.

8. At game tables or in game rooms it is common courtesy to say good luck (GL) , good game (gg), very good game (vgg), good luck next round (glnr). Sportsmanship goes a long way. We know people may not always get along but to exhibit some sportsmanship won’t hurt.

9. It is also very courteous to thank your host for hosting, as they volunteer their time to host tournaments for other staff members and league members. So, if you get a moment before a tournament or after you have been eliminated please try to give your host a quick Thank You for Hosting (TYFH); this lets them know that their time is appreciated.

10. Cheating: If you are caught cheating you WILL be removed from the league immediately. Any allegations of cheating will be investigated and reviewed.
