tHE PROBLEM MOST HAVE IS NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE THE CODE. THE PAGE HAS BEEN MAXIMIZED SO WE NEED TO MAKE IT SMALLER:
The problem is I was not seeing the entire page for entering the code, and thought it was just grinding..... AS usual,, my good friend helped me out. Changing the n the lower right hand corner to 50 ot 75 will allow u to see entire page and therefore enter their NEW 8 DIGIT code....

  ITS HARD FOR SOME TO GET INTO YAHOO LATELY, SINCE THE NEW SECURITIES WAS TINKERED WITH. I ADMIT ITS A PAIN, BUT HERE ARE A FEW SUGGESTIONS FOR YOU TO TRY.IT LOOKS LIKE YAHOO HAS PUT ON NEW SOFTWARE THAT REQUIRES YOU TO ENTER 8 CHARS TO GET INTO THE LOUNGE. this appears to work on the main page by selecting lounge 7 and then moving ur window to the right to where the new id prompt characters are.
