****Party Poppers Rules****

Pogo Party Poppers was started to promote and enhance the fun and enjoyment of Pogo game playing for all league members and players and make for a pleasant, enjoyable game playing experience for all.

Courtesy and respect for all players is to be shown at all times. Bickering, fighting, disrespect, profanity and drama will not be tolerated. We adhere to a strict rule of “three strikes you’re out” The first offense will be a warning, second will be a 3 day suspension and the third offense will be removal from the league.. No harassment of any member of our league or another league will be tolerated as this is against cases rules and will be grounds for immediate dismissal.

We will follow Cases Rules and Guidelines at all times! This will include no player registering another player for a tournament as this is against cases rules, also. No cheat programs or auto programs will be permitted in tournaments. Any and all problems should be directed to the Administrative Staff.

The administrating of the tourney and the tourney rules and giving help to tourney players and answering questions for a non-league player is to be done by the host running the tourney, and the host alone, unless the host specifically askes someone else to help out! This is to eliminate confusion to the player asking the question.

For all tournaments using token counts, the count is to be taken from the number located “Under the Jackpot Token Count, as this is the real time count! The count in the list is not real time and should not be used by the host or the tournament players as it is not Real Time and is not correct!

Most of our games are played Swiss (not true swiss) style! If a host is going to play the game differently or give a twist to the game, it is up to the host to inform the players before the tournement starts how the game will be played! Any questions from a player are to be answered by the host administering the tourney, not by a player, unless the host specifically asks them. One again, this is to eliminate confusion to the player asking the questions!

Players should be registered before the start time of the tournement if they wish to play. Tournaments should start on tine if possible, but not any more than 5 minutes late! If there are not enough players to play in a tournament by 5 minutes after the tournament is to begin, the tournament will be cancelled by the administering host. No waiting for new players to sign up for the league and holding up the game is permissible! Instructions can be given after the tournament begins by the host administering the tournament. Holding up the tournament causes the game to run late and runs into the next scheduled tournament. We undeerstand that sometimes games run over, but every effort should be made to start the tournament no later than 5 minutes after the scheduled tournament start time!

Most of our tournaments are played Swiss” style. If a host schedules a tournment differently or if there is going to be a twist to the game, it is up to the host to inform the players before the tourmanent begins! Once again, the start of the game should not be held up to give instructions. Players should be in the room at the scheduled start time!

In token count tourmanments, the token counts are to be given from the Real Time Count listed under the Jackpot, Token Count, NOT from the list, as the list count is not an accurate count. If a discrepency is brought up as to the players count, the host may ask the player to refresh. Once refreshed, the accurate count will appear in the list count, also. If a player is caught cheating, it will be grounds for disqualification and that player will receive a warning! We adhere to a stricct policy of “3 strikes you are out” of the league as stated above. ABSOLUTELY NO CHEATING WILL BE TOLERATED AND NO USE OF AUTO PROGRAMS IS PERMITTED IN A TOURNAMENT!

IN ALL GAMES, THE NON-WINNER IS TO POST IN CHAT….WINNER/Non Winner! It is up to the players to write down their and their opponents beginning and end token count of every game and calculate the score. The host will also keep track of all the counts and scores in the event of a discrepency! If a player is booted they may come back and continue to play. If a player is booted or doesn't play for 5 minutes or more, he or she will be disqualified for that round and default the win to their opponent. The player may come back and play the next round. In Leaderboard games or other games, players should watch to see their place and their opponents place on the board to post. In games such as E1 wins bingo and 1000 Island Solitaire, players should write down their end and their opponents score.

IN EVERY GAME, NON WINNER IS TO POST IN CHAT…WINNER/non winner! NOT ADHERING TO THIS RULE MAY LEAD TO A PLAYER LOSING THE ROUND!

Please remember we all make mistakes! If there is a discrepency, it should be brought to the attention of the host. In every tournament, the host will ask the players if the agree with the winners as posted! Players are to respond in chat with a “y” or “n” before the round is closed. Once the round is closed there will be no changes made!

Disrespect to a host will be grounds for a minimum of “3 days in the box’. Tournament Directors volunteer their time and do the best they can. They are all human and we all make mistakes! If a player has a problem with a tournament director, it should be brought to the attention of the administration to deal with.

Please remember that these are only games! Our main goal is to have fun, enjoy each other’s company , meet new friends and HAVE A PLACE TO CALL HOME!
