This email was initiated by someone trying to cause problems for both you and the Friends and Dreamers league. The person responsible has targeted several dozen leagues to send this type of email to and have impersonated themselves to be representatives of Friends and Dreamers.

We have researched several of the emails since it was brought to our attention by other leagues in the last few weeks and have confirmed that the emails were not initiated by any member or staff located at Friends and Dreamers. Since this involves impersonation of a person, an internet crime report has been filed with the FBI.

If you visit the Admin forums you will see several threads regarding this issue, some of which have been responded to by our Admin Support Staff, including myself.

The only suggestion I can offer is just to let your members know that you are not closing and that the issue is being investigated. I would also recommend informing your members that the email is a hoax and to forward the email to abuse@google.com, abuse@rocketmail.com and abuse@yahoo.com with the following messages or something similar:

"Hello. The spammer below is either using your resources to send out bulk
unsolicited e-mail ("spam") or is deceptively trying to make it look like he is. In either case, a legitimate company like yours probably would not approve. The information below should be all you need."

MableRocker has set her league to private since this issue began and is not accepting new members. If she is contacted for an invitation to join her league she is letting the individuals know that Friends and Dreamers is not accepting any new members, that their other league is NOT closing, and to keep playing in the other leagues because their membership there is very much appreciated.
