Annie, Sorry for your loss. Here is something I wrote when I lost my daughter, hope it helps you too in your time of grief.

Souls Reunite

It seems grief started so long ago.
Each day it gets easier, but never goes away.
You are my heart, but you had to go.
The Lord needed you more, in His way.
This is not for me to understand.
I go on and live my life day after day.
But I will be there in the Lord's time.
Please wait for me.
One day at a time I am on my way.
