Tapping/Safety Rules for PoolForFun are as follows....

Lightly hitting your object ball in an attempt to preserve the current ball layout on the pool table is considered Tapping, and is a foul it is NOT permitted in this league. Please notify the TD if this occurs.

A Tap is When You Barely Allow The Cueball To Touch The Object Ball Making It Stop & The Object Ball Does Not Move. Or The Cue Ball Barely Brushes The Object Ball, With Neither Ball Deflecting Off Of A Rail Or Entering A Pocket.

Should this event happen whether by accident or a Pogo glitch and/or lagging, then you "Must turn the ball over to your opponent for a ball in hand by barely hitting the cueball making certain it DOES NOT MOVE"

NO SAFETYS ALLOWED. A Safety Is Defined As Intentionally Leaving Your Opponent Without A Shot Available. No Tapping So That Your Opponent Has To Break Out The Balls. Play To Win And Be Fair. You Must Make A Valid Attempt To Make Your Shot.

However, this does not mean that anytime your opponent shoots softly that it is a "Tap" or "Safety". Keep in mind some shots require less power. The best thing to do is to play fair and remember, IT IS ONLY A GAME. Good luck and have fun!
