WELCOME ALL NEW MEMBERS !!!!!!!

Thanks to our wonderful staff, members, and players from all over Dreamland, we just celebrated our 3rd anniversary here at Refried Dreams on July 28, 2008 and will be holding a marathon of tournaments on Thursday July 31st and Friday August 1st. Each day will bring a minimum of 12 scheduled tournaments, played as single elimination and charged an entry fee of 35 buxx with buxx awarded to the top winner of each tour as usual. In addition to the normal prize buxx given away we will be offering even more buxx to the top three marathon winners each day. 5000 to first place, 2500 to second place and 1250 to third place. Over 17,500 buxx will be given away over the two day period. The marathon will start at 10am each morning and continue through to the final tour at 9pm. Any tournaments set after 9pm on these two days (such as Hoots), or any tours set in between the scheduled marathon tours will not be included in the marathon and no additional buxx will be given away during that time.

In addition to this we have started something new that we hope you all will enjoy and participate in. In the past we have had a host/member spotlight located on the right hand side of the main league page. This section will still remain, but we have extended it to include other items that you may like to share with us. For more information on this please visit the main league page and read the description on the right hand side. If you are still using the old URL to the league and viewing the new Cases format we invite you to start using our newest URL http://www.refrieddream.com/. By changing our domain name we are now able to bring you the league page you are more familiar with and add our own personal touch and creativity. Something we did not have when using the myleague address. If you haven't already installed the Refried Dreams toolbar we invite you to give it a try as well. You can find the link to downloading the toolbar on the left hand side of the main league page under "LINKS OF INTEREST".

If you are having trouble getting your games to load, your computer is running slowly, suffering from frequent crashes and annoying boots in the middle of a game and you are currently using Windows Internet Explorer you might be interested in downloading the Mozilla FireFox browser. It has all the capabilities of IE with less hassels and faster run time. The download for this can be found at http://www.firefox.com/. It is a small, yet simple download and we are sure once you try it you will never go back to IE again unless you enjoy the headaches and irritations of IE. While we cannot guarantee this will solve all your problems we are almost certain you will be much happier. You will still have the option of using IE once the firefox browser is downloaded so you can always remove it and return to the old way if you are not satisfied. This download should not effect anything currently installed on your computer.
