:: League-Specific Rules Bootem Object is to be the last person at the table Td will invite everyone to the table and break the rack. Each player shoots once then stands. Shoot in order that it reads on the list to the right of who is at the table. If you miss or scratch you are booted .No ball in hand . Do not reset balls.Tourney continues until only one person remains td breaks each rack needed 2 vs 2 Partners All 4 players will play on protected and unrated tables. You shoot until you miss, then you stand and let your partner sit. All regular tourney rules apply. REGULAR 8 BALL This tourney must be played on rated/protected tables. Ask for timers if needed in the lobby. This game is played by yahoo rules. KILL THE 8 This tournament is be played on unrated tables. Objective of the game is to sink the 8 first to win the match. Sinking the 8 on break does not count, you MUST rerack. You can ONLY move cue ball on the break, but after that if yahoo gives you bih you may only move cue behind the headline. You can sink the 8 by combo or straight in. If you sink the cue ball into pocket, it will be placed automatically on the line and you can move cue anywhere behind the headline. The answer is yes!!!! If the 8 is behind the headline it is a legal shot even on a Ball in Hand. 4 Corners Rated tables/Protected - This game only applys to the 4 corners on the table. The side (middle) pocket cannot be use throughout the whole game. If you accidently hit your ball on the side pockets, you must tap the ball to the other opponent..NO BALL IN HAND ALLOWED!! If one of your colored balls hits the 4 corners and in the side, play on. If you scratch, ball in hand is allowed and move anywhere the table. The 8 must be made in the one of the 4 corners. Bank the 8 or Cue Bank the 8 must be played on a rated, non-timed table and the regular tournament rules do apply to the game. The Objective of the game is to sink the 8 by banking the 8 or cue off a rail into designated pocket. Game is played as regular till you get to the 8 Ball. The Winner of game is the player who sinks the 8 Ball hitting the 8 ball or cue off the rail into the called pocket after all other balls are off the table. The 8 ball or cue must be banked in the correct manner in order to win, if not it is a LOSS to the person who doesn’t do so correctly. The correct bank of the 8 ball is an opposite rail bank (not a same rail bank) that results in the making of the 8 ball in the called pocket. 10 Shot Rules All games are to be played on protected training tables. Matches are played in sets of 2 frames per player. In each frame the player sits at the table and resets the table. The player then has 10 shots to sink as many balls as possible. All balls count, even the black. At the end you will have 1 point taken off your score for every scratch. The score for a frame is the number of balls sunk minus 1 point for each scratch. The total score for the match is the sum of the scores for each frame. Following a scratch you must place the cue ball behind the headline. You must not move any of the balls at any other time. While one player is shooting the other player must count out the number of shots taken Red Ball Last This tourney is played on a rated/protected table.In red ball last you must sink your red ball last, before you go for the 8 If you sink your red ball while you have other balls from your set on the table you lose the game and must cancel the game to give your opponent the win If you sink your opponents red ball at any time you lose and must also cancel the game. There are NO Re-Racks in this game. Screw your neighbor 1. Play On Rated/Protected Tables. Game is played just like a reg 8 ball with the exception of prior to the break you must choose the pocket your opponent has to pot the 8 ball into and your opponent picks the pocket for your 8 ball to be potted. Very Good Luck Rack and Run This game is to be played on protected/training tables. The objective of this game is to pocket as many balls as you can until you MISS. Players will have 2 unlimited racks each (unlimited rack= resetting rack as many times as you can clear the table). If you run the table (clearing all 15 balls without missing), you can continue on and on the break you do not have to pocket any balls to continue on. If you scratch on the break it is an automatic rerack. Timed Tourneys All tables should be protected, rated and TIMED... depending on how many seconds a td is allowing. If the tourney is a 5 second game, when making table make sure you put 5 seconds. If 10 seconds, put 10 seconds. Regular game rules apply. Last Pocket This game is played like a regular pool game except for when you’re on the 8 ball. For the 8 ball shot, the 8 ball must go in the same pocket as your last colored ball. (example: If you sink a (colored) solid pink ball in the top right of the table, then your black ball (8 ball) must go to the top right to make it last pocket.)If your opponent sinks your last colored ball, you must sink where the ball is pocketed by your opponent. Mystery Pocket All tables are rated non timed protected tables. The game is played as any other game until the 8 ball. When on the 8 ball you must sink it into the same pocket as which the hosting TD has announced (the pocket will be announced when the TD comes to your table). If you fail to sink the black in the specified pocket you will not be declared the winner. Mystery Tourney This is where a tournament is made, but the type of it is not revealed until tournament has closed. This is for any tournament on this approved list. When round one is announced, say what kind it is, i.e. red ball last, bank and combo, suicide, etc. Can also be used for team tournaments. Call your shots All tables are regular protected tables. Before you shoot, you must call which ball (color and solid-stripe) and which pocket you are trying for. If you do not make your shot, but pocket another ball instead, you must tap cue ball, giving opponent ball in hand. Failure to do this will be a warning the first time, and the second time DQ
