NO STRIKES
You cannot get a strike frames 1-9 or 1-10. You must throw both balls (this is not gutterball). If you get a strike, you are out for that round. It is up to the host if you bowl regular in the 10th frame or not.
2 STRIKES ONLY
You are only allowed 2 strikes in a row during a round. If you get a "turkey" you are out for that round. It is up to the host if you bowl regular in the 10th frame or not.
GUTTERBALL
You must throw your first ball in the gutter. No strikes in this game. You will either end up with a spare or open frame. It is up to the host if you bowl regular in the 10th frame or not.
BASEBALL
You are only allowed 2 strikes for frames 1-9 or 1-10. If you bowl a 3rd strike during frames 1-9 or 1-10, you are OUT for that round. It is up to the host if you bowl regular in the 10th frame or not.
50/50
You will bowl all 10 frames, but frames 1-5 will be one type of game, and frames 6-10 will be another type of game. Example: Host will tell you that for frames 1-5 you will be bowling "gutterball" and for frames 6-10 you will be bowling "no strikes". It is up to the host if you bowl regular in the 10th frame or not.
BACKWARDS BOWLING
You will bowl all 10 frames regular bowling. At the end of the 10th frame, you will report your score backwards.
Example: I bowl a 175, my score would be 571.
CHICKEN BOWLING
You will bowl all 10 frames regular bowling. The first person in pair to get a STRIKE/SPARE/STRIKE (X/X) wins that round. Report your "chicken" when it occurs. If both players get a "chicken" in the same frame, you continue bowling until one of you gets another "chicken". If neither player gets a "chicken", then the highest score wins that round.
ODD AND EVEN BOWLING
The host will announce prior to tournament if game is ODD or EVEN bowling. ODD bowling you can only bowl in "odd number frames", EVEN bowling you can only bowl in "even numbered frames". If a player bowls in the wrong frame, you lose that round. If both players bowl in the wrong frame at same time, at end of 10th frame, high score wins the round.
ADD EM UP
You bowl all 10 frames regular bowling. At the end of the 10th frame you add up your score. You must throw both balls and must bowl at least a 100. Example: I bowl a 175, add up the numbers 1+7+5 = 13, You would have a score of 13.
ONE PIN STANDING
You must leave at least 1 pin standing. No strikes or spares are allowed in this game. If you get 9 pins down with your first ball, you do not have to throw your second ball. It is up to the host if you bowl regular in the 10th frame or not.
CLOSEST TO 200
You cannot bowl over a 200 score. If you bowl over a 200, you lose that round. If both players bowl over a 200, then the player closest to 200 wins the round. You must throw both balls.
ONE BALL
You can only throw 1 ball frames 1-9 or 1-10. No spares allowed in this game. If you throw a second ball, you are OUT for that round. The idea is to get strikes. It is up to the host if you bowl regular in the 10th frame or not.
NO SPARES
You can only get strikes in this game. No spares are allowed. In each frame you will have either a strike or an open frame. It is up to the host if you bowl regular in the 10th frame or not.
TURKEY HUNT
You bowl all 10 frames regular bowling. The first player that gets a "TURKEY" wins that round. If both players turkey in the same frame, you continue on until one of you get the next turkey. If neither player gets a turkey, the player with the highest score wins the round.
ALL OPEN
You cannot get a strike or spare in frames 1-9, only open frames. In frame 10 you may bowl regular.
7/10 SPIT
The first person to roll a 7/10 split wins the round. You do not have to pick up the 7/10. This counts for the 10th frame also, so if you get your 7/10 split in 10th frame you win the round. If both players get 7/10 split at same time, you keep bowling and the second 7/10 split will win the round. If no 7/10 splits, then high score wins round.
BOWLING 101
The first person to get to score of 101 wins the round. If both players get 101 at same time, continue bowling until one of you get a 101. If nobody in tour round bowls a 101 then the high score wins the round. You must throw at least one ball, you do not have to throw both balls.
