1.IDs that have been boosted will not be allowed to remain in United PooL.You will be either removed from the league or asked to change to a non-boosted id.

2.No member of United Pool is allowed to accuse another member of using and auto-aimer program, this includes subtle suggestions and masked words, for example "that memner has a**r", or "nice shooting, 15 banks in a row ahem", and so on. This just will not be tolerated here.

3.League boosting, reporting games from duplicate/fake accounts will result in an instant ban from the league.

4.All United Pool league names must match your league id and Yahoo id exactly, failure to do so will result in removal from the league or a id change.

5.Provisional rated players (players with less than 20 Yahoo games under their belt) are allowd to play in tournaments and league games as long as they are new to the league, or withdrew and signed up from an old id. What is not permitted is for a member to use the "User Editor" link to change their name to a 'provie' id.

6.Offensive or sexually suggestive league names will be boxed for for 24 hours. To be unboxed and change ids you must contact an admin within 24 hours or the name will be removed from United Pool.

7.Duplicate accounts (two league ids/members from the same household or location) are allowed, but you must get the permission of an admin to have an 'approved duplicate' account. Failure to gain admin permission will result in both ids being deleted. Approved duplicates may not play each other in league or tournament games.

8.Swearing in the lobby, at a table or in IMs (when league related), will not be tolerated in United Pool. If somebody swears at you or you see them swearing, simply ignore them and send a screenshot into the admins and they will deal with it. If you're staff you would be expected to ask them to refrain from using such language again.As we can't list every possibility it will be left to the league Admins to decide what is and is'nt breaking this rule. Leniency will be granted to begin with, but persistent offending will result in one day in the box, then two days, and so on.

9.One Yahoo glitch occurs when a player will lose their cue in the middle of the game. If this ever happens you must cancel and restart the game.

10.Another Yahoo glitch occurs when a player pots both a solid and stripe off the break and is given the option afterwards to choose what they wish to be and to move the cue. You may choose if you wish to be solids or stripes and you may move the cue ball.

11.On any break two balls must hit rails. This is too avoid players merely tapping the cue. If two balls do not hit rails, the game is to be cancelled and replayed with the same person breaking.

12.Similarly, a player may not just simply tap the cue ball, giving his/her opponent ball in hand (bih) because they do not like their shot options. An attempt to hit a ball must be made with every shot.

13.Timers for league games and tournament games are 5 minutes long. This means if your opponent freezes or leaves the table during a league or tournament game, please stop shooting and invite a TD for a timer. If the opponent hasnt returned within this 5 mins you will be decalred the winner of that match. Failure to stop shooting will result in the match being re-played. This also applies for timed games, call a TD, let the time run out, the TD will handle the situation.

14.Sinking the 8 in on the break is considered a re-rack. Anyone caught filing an unreported match report for a re-rack in this situation will be banned from the league.

15.United Pool does not allow "best of" league games. Each league game played must be reported, so if you play someone three times, there shoud be three corresponding reports to the ladder.

16.All tables are to be protected and not private. This is so a TD may enter any table for a timer if an opponent is frozen, booted, or for any problems. Private tables are allowed under special circumstances, but a TD must be present at the table to witness the game.

17.Sometimes when an opponent is on a timer, and hence statsic, a box will appear asking you if you wish to Cancel, Wait or Force Forfeit (FF), you must choose the Wait option. If you are caught ff'ing during a game, you will be made to report a loss to the person you ff'd. As stated, if an opponent is frozen or leaves table, call a TD immediately for a 5 minute timer. Failure to follow this procedure will result in a minimum of 1 day in the box.

18.In tournaments, the first player to invite the other will be accepted. If one player declines an invite, and then send out an invite themselves, they will be put on a timer until they accept the initial invite.

19.Any member found to have any auto-aim programs installed on their machine will be automatically banned from the league. NO excuses will be accepted.

20.Any members trying to cheat wins by saying they will gift bux to that player if they bank it or make a trick shot will be harshly punished.

21.League game loss reports should be made within 15 minutes of playing the game. After this 15 minutes your opponent has every right to file an unreported match report against you. If still not reported within 12 hours, an Admin will report it for you. Constant 'non-reporters' will be disciplined depending on how often they have failed to report league losses.

22.Coaching (advising a player what shot to make next or tactics to adopt in a game) will not be tolerated here. Anyone caught coaching will be boxed, even if in a 2v2 tournament.

23.When a Formal Challenge (FC) has been issued and both players are in the room, they must finish their current games, not start another game and play the formal challenge match.. If one party leaves instead of playing the FC, they will forfeit the game. If one party starts another league game instead of starting the FC game, they will forfeit their game and an admin will report the match.

24.Each member may join a maximum of two tournaments at any one time. Although many players can concentrate or thrre or more at once, this is purly to stop tourneys being slowed down by players taking too long to shoot.

25.When you go to a table to watch a game, please first ask permission from the two players. If both are ok with you watching then stay. However, if you do not ask for permission, the host of the table may legally boot you from it. Only admins and TDs may not be booted from tables.

26.Boot Orders are now going to be enforced for the top 5. Boot Order will mean any day that person is on they will be required to play a minimum of 5 league games with 5 different opponents. Failure to to this will result in a demotion of 10 places. Also, members in the top 5 who are idle for 3 days or more will be demoted 10 places.

27.No member may represent United Pool in any interleague tournament if they have been boxed in the previous seven days for any reason.

28.Weekly tourneys are allowed to be spammed 30 minutes prior to the start time. This only applies to weekly tourneys.

29.You may play a league member up to a maximum of 10 times per day in "league games". These league games must all be regular 8 ball games and ALL must be reported. No 'races' or 'best of' league games are allowed. You may play timed league games of 10 second tables minimum (nothing below 10 seconds is allowed).

30.No TDs or members may single out other members in an attempt to pressurise them into joining a tourney. For example, a tourney is being advertised, 5 people are in the room, only 3 have joined with 3 minutes to go till close, the TD or members start saying "[League ID] Please join this tourney!!!" "Pleeeeeease join my tourney [League ID]!!" "Cmon, prettty please with cherries on top [League ID]!!" (no amount of cherries will be tolerated!). This may seem like an odd rule but it has been written due to popular demand. Members are complaining that they feel obliged to join tourneys and guilty for not joining, even if they are just in the room for a chat, whilst at work or just to play league games. It would be awsome if they joined the tourney, but just as acceptable to not join if thats how they feel. You may comment andencourage generally with comments such as "Cmon all, get in the tourney and show your support!!" "Anyone else getting in this tourney?" etc, just NO singling out of members please.

31.If you have been a TD in Unitedpool before, and for any reason leave and then return to the league as a TD, you no longer have to make 10 Reg 8 tourneys before running tourney types of your own choice.

32.To curb the growing number of players asking for re-racks (rr) and forcing opponents to accept a rr by various means, from now, only the winning player may offer a re-rack. Re-racks are not to be asked for at any time.

33.Because of rumour of how some auto-aimer programmes work (whether true or not, rumour is enough to cause disruption unfortunately), United Pool players playing in either league games or tourney are not allowed to be at a training table at the same time.
