UNITED POOL TOURNEY TYPES

KILLER

(1v1v1) All tables are protected training tables. Each person starts with 3 lives, if you miss you lose a life - once you miss 3 times you are eliminated. The person who breaks has 2 chances to make a ball. After the break, there is one shot per turn. You shoot in the order that you are listed in the pairings. So it is basically - sit, shoot ONCE, stand. Miss and lose one of your lives. If you scratch you lose a life and the next person gets ball in hand but they MUST shoot from behind the white line. Last one with lives left is declared the winner. If you scratch on the break, you get a second chance but you must shoot from behind the line. This game can also be played as a 1v1 or 1v1v1v1.

BANK THE 8

All tables are protected rated tables. This is a regular pool game, played as regular rules until the 8 ball. When you shoot the 8 ball, you MUST hit it off an opposite rail. You can bank either the 8 ball OR the cue ball. There is to be NO ADJACENT RAIL shots - if you pot the eight on an adjacent bank you will not be declared the winner. YOU MUST BANK THE 8 to be declared the winner. If you are confused about what an adjacent rail shot is, ask in the lobby, and a member of staff will show you on a training table.

LAST POCKET

All tables are protected rated tables. The game is played as a regular 8 ball pool game until the 8 ball. When on the 8 ball, you must mark and pot the black in the same pocket as YOUR OWN last ball whether you or your opponent sunk it. You will not be declared the winner if you fail to sink the eight in the same pocket as your last ball.

TIMED TOURNEY

All tables are protected, rated and set to the time which the hosting TD has specified. The game is played as a regular 8 ball game. If your opponent is booted or idle, DO NOT take advantage of the ball in hand, but call in the TD for a timer. The lowest timers allowed are 5 seconds.

MYSTERY POCKET

All tables are protected, rated tables. The game is played as a regular 8 ball game until the 8 ball. When on the 8 ball you must pot it into the pocket which the hosting TD has selected. You will not be declared the winner if you fail to pot the black in the specified pocket.

2vs2BEST OF THREE

All tables are protected, rated tables. Games are to be played as regular 8 ball pool. Captain plays captain and their partners play each other. Both games are played at the same time on two different tables. If both players from the same team win, then that team advances to the next round. If one player from each team wins then the two winning players will play a deciding game, with the winner of that games team advancing.

2vs2 SIT & STAND TILL MISS

All tables are protected, NON RATED tables. All four players must be invited to the table. The captains from each team sit first. You play as a regular 8 ball game, you shoot till you miss, then stand to let your partner sit. Then player 2 shoots till he misses, then stands to let captain sit and shoot again. This keeps going until one team wins the game and is declared the winner. If your partner leaves and is timed out, the other team will be declared the winner. If a player shoots out of turn they must tap the cue giving ball in hand to the other team and stand. One player can not play alone in this game.

2vs2 SIT AND STAND ALTERNATE SHOT

All tables are protected, NON RATED tables. Games are regular 8 ball games. All four players must be invited to the table. The Captains from each team sit first. It is played as a regular 8 ball game except players in each team take turns at shooting, regardless of missing or potting a ball you must stand after every shot and give seat to your partner. So captain shoots once, stands to let player 2 sit and shoot once. The player 2 stands to let captain shoot once. This keeps going until one team wins and is declared the winner. If a player shoots out of turn they must tap the cue giving ball in hand to other team and stand. If your partner leaves and is timed out, the other team will be declared the winner. One player can not keep going alone in this game.

3vs3 BEST OF THREE

All tables are protected, rated tables. Games are regular 8 ball games. You have 2 partner's in this tourney. Captain plays captain, player 2 plays player 2, and player 3 plays player 3. They each play at the same time on different tables. If two of three of your team wins their matches, your team advances. If a team goes 2-0 and 3rd game is still being played, they can choose to finish, or cancel, since the result of the 3rd game will not change the outcome of who advances.

3vs3 BEST OF FIVE

All tables are protected, rated tables. Games are regular 8 ball games. You have 2 partner's in this tourney. Captain plays captain, player 2 plays player 2, and player 3 plays player 3. They each play at the same time on different tables. After all 3 games are played, if the score is 3-0 the game is done, and the winning team advances. If the score is 2-1 the member of the team that won only one game, must defeat both of the winners from the team that won two games. If he loses to either of them, the match is over. First to 3 wins advances.

BANK AND COMBO

All tables are protected, rated tables. Each shot must either be a combo or a bank. When on the 8 ball player must bank shot. If you shoot a normal shot on any shot, 1st time is warning and tap of cue handing it to opponent. 2nd time is disqualification. If you do not bank the eight you will not be declared the winner.

10 SHOT

All tables are protected training tables. Each player has 10 shots to sink as many balls as possible. One player sits at a time, and after taking 10 shots, stands for their opponent. Each shot is to be counted off by the opponent. Example, after your opponent's first shot, you would type 1, to show that he has taken one shot. If you scratch the cue ball during either of your runs, this counts as -1 off your end score for each run, for example, Player 1:First Run = 8 balls pocketed & 2 scratches = a score of 6, Player 1:Second Run = 8 balls pocketed, no scratches = a score of 8. Player1:Run1+Run2 Score = Final Score of 14. At the end of the 10 shots, all balls pocketed are counted. This is done 2 times, so each player gets two chances to make balls. Add the two scores and whoever made the most out of both attempts, wins. Note* The cue may be placed ANYWHERE on the table after a scratch and counts as -1. The break DOES count as shot #1, unlike in rack n runs where the break is a free shot, there are no free shots in a 10 shot tourney.

RACK AND RUN

All tables are protected training tables. One opponent sits first, shooting as many balls as possible without missing. If you run out of balls re rack and start again continuing the count. When you miss, or scratch the cue, your turn is up. If you miss or scratch on break you get a second attempt. (If you scratch on break, you can keep going, but you must shoot from behind the line). If you clear a rack of 15 and reset, you must make a ball on the next break as it is considered a part of that run. Count the amount of balls you sunk, refresh the table, and stand for your opponent. Each person gets two attempts, which are added together. Whoever sank the most balls wins the match.

CUT THROAT

Played on protected, unrated tables. In this game, you need to be the first to sink black. Scratch, foul, combo, do anything you can to sink black first. If the black is potted on the break, this counts as a valid shot and is regarding as a win. You play best of three, the first person with two wins advances to next round. It is still considered a win if you scratch on the 8ball, because you were still the first to hit the 8 in. You can shoot from anywhere on the table if you get ball in hand.

NO SNOOKERING

All tables are protected, rated tables. All games are regular 8ball rules there are no snooker shots allowed. You can not tap or hide the cue in the hope to get yourself ball in hand, or to give your opponent an impossible leave. You must hit all shots with the purpose of trying to make a ball. The first time you are caught snookering a warning will be issued, and opponent will get bih ( if need be, people must tap cue to get correct person ball in hand). The second time it happens the offending person will be DQ'd and opponent will advance.

CALL YOUR SHOTS

All tables are protected, rated tables. Before you shoot, you must call which ball and which pocket you are trying for. If you do not make your shot, but pocket another ball instead, you must tap cue ball, giving opponent ball in hand. Failure to do this will be a warning the first time, and the second time DQ.

FOUR CORNERS

All tables are protected, rated tables. Every shot must be made in one of the corner pockets. If one is sunk in the middle pockets accidently, keep shooting as if it didn't happen. If one is sunk intentionally, you must tap the cue to give your opponent ball in hand. If you pot a ball into a center pocket on purpose, you will give your opponent BIH and receive one warning. If you do it twice, you will be disqualified. If you pot the 8 into a center pocket, you are disqualified automatically.

FULL POWER

Played on protected, rated tables. Played just like a normal tourney, except that every shot is to be taken using full power. Before each shot, hold the power meter to full for a few seconds so your opponent can see that your using it. If you fail to shoot at full power, first time is a warning, second time is a DQ.

LOW POWER

Played on protected, rated tables. Played just like a normal tourney, except that every shot is to be taken using low power. Before each shot, hold the power meter no higher then the yellow on the power line. Please hold for 3-4 seconds so your opponent and the TD can see that you are using it. If you fail to shoot at low power, first time is a warning, second time is a DQ.

FLAWLESS

All tables are protected, rated tables. The point of this game is to win without making any fouls. To become flawless in your game. A foul is doing anything that gives opponent ball in hand. Scratching on break does not count. First person to foul and give opponent ball in hand loses. If a ball in hand situation arises, the game *must* be cancelled by both players.

BANK ALL SHOTS

All tables are protected, rated tables. Each shot must be a bank. If you fail to bank on any shot, 1st time is warning and tap of cue handing it to opponent. 2nd time is disqualification. If you do not bank on the eight you will not be declared the winner.

FIRST BALL

All tables are protected. rated tables. All balls must be pocketed into the same pocket as the first colored ball goes into. No matter if it was you or your opponent who pockets it. Making a ball into another pocket by accident will be overlooked. However you can not directly aim to pocket a ball in another pocket. The 8 ball must be pocketed into your pocket too. If you fail to aim for your designated pocket, you will be dq'd. You will not be declared the winner if you do not pocket the 8 ball in your pocket.

TRUE SWISS

All games are normal 1v1 games unless otherwise noted. In a true swiss there is a set number of rounds. Everyone plays in every round, unless you ask to be removed before the next round advances. After all rounds are completed, the person with the best win-loss record is declared the winner. You win a % of the prize for each win you have. If you are timed out, you will be removed before the next round is advanced.

REGULAR SWISS

All games are normal 1v1 games unless otherwise noted. In a regular swiss the tournament ends when there is only one undefeated player. Everyone plays in every round, unless you ask to be removed before the next round advances. You win a % of the prize for each win you have. If you are timed out, you will be removed before the next round is advanced.

BOOT' EM

The TD invites all players to 1 table. TDs MUST set a Boot'em tourney as a 1v1v1 and not a 1v1. (Training Table). TD will announce who is next in line to shoot. This can be done alphabetically OR as per the table boot order. This will always be the TD's choice and it should be stated once all player are at the table about to start and also on the tourney rules page which method will be used in the tourney. The TD will also choose before the tournament begins if he or she will be breaking or if the first player in order will be breaking . You may pot any ball, then stand. If you miss a shot the TD boots you from the table and your out of the tournament. If you shoot out of turn, regardless of the reason, the TD boots you from the table and you are out of the tournament. Ball in Hand is allowed if the player who shoots before scratches. If you have to break during the cycle, this is considered a 'free life', you take the break, and if you scratch you remain in the game and it is the next persons go with bih, if you pot a ball or not, you stay in the tournament, it's luck of the draw. Potting Cue Ball any other time Counts as a loss and you are out. 1 minute timers only for this tournament.

PLAYERS CHOICE

Played as a standard tourney, except each rounds rules are decided by one player at game begin using any rules on the league tourney types. No Cut Throat, Rack n Run, 10 Shot and nothing below 10 Sec Timers. No Combining 2 tourneys into one. Lower Seed in pairs selects game type - Tables Rated - Protected. Rules Must be stated before game play begins. Opponent not accepting rules after game begins is a automatic DQ.

SPEED POOL

The T.D. will invite you to a training table. T.D. will announce who goes first, you will face your opponent in running the table, you have to run the table faster than your opponent, if you cant, you are out of the tourney. Time starts to run when the player hits first ball at the break after T.D. says GO. The player has to pot all the balls in the least time possible, (including 8 ball in any order). If you scratch you get 5 seconds penalty added to the overall time.

RAINBOW

All tables are rated non timed protected tables. The object is to hit every ball in the order of the rainbow… pink red orange yellow green blue purple black. (one person will be solids, the other stripes) If a ball goes that was not aimed for and you still made a ball in order you just keep going as long as you hit the correct colored ball first. If you fail to shoot in the order you must tap cue ball, giving opponent ball in hand. First person to reach the eight ball shooting in the correct order wins.

TOPS N TAILS

A tops'n'tails tournament will, be played on tables with no timers, that are rated, and protectd. The games begins as per a normal game, but when the balls have been decided, ie who is stripes and who is solids, then the player who has solids must pot them all in the top 3 pockets, the player who has stripes must pot them all in the bottom 3 pockets. The 8 ball must be potted in either the top or the bottom in accordance with whether you were stripes or solids, ie, if you were solids, then you must pot the 8 in a top pocket. If you pot a ball in the wrong pocket, you must tap the cue ball back to your opponent, but they must play it from were it lies, no ball in hand can be taken, UNLESS, the tap of the cueball leaves the opponent snookered or the tap is played strategically to leave the opponent a tough shot, or more simple to understand, the cue ball may travel no more than 0.99999 milimeteres on a tap ;) When bih is given under these circumstances, the cue ball may be placed anywhere on the table.

RED BALL LAST

Played as normal 1v1, rated, protected tables. In Red Ball Last you must sink your red ball last, before you go for the 8 ball. If you sink your red ball while you have other balls on the table, or, if you pot your red ball and another ball at the same time, for instance the blue ball and then the red ball last in one shot, you lose the game and must cancel the game and opponent gets the tourney win (as in flawless game cancelling). If you sink your opponents red ball at any time you lose and must cancel the game and opponent gets the tourney win (as in flawless game cancelling). Sinking the red ball on the break results in a re-rack each time until a break is made with no red ball sunk.

BLACKJACK

All games are played on protected training tables. First player breaks. Then stands. Second players shoots. Then stands. Continuing like that until end of the game. You may shoot any ball. They all have point values. The object of the game is to reach a score of 21 without going over. First player to reach 21, or whose opponent goes over 21, wins. Point totals for the balls are as follows: ALL STRIPES are 3 pts. SOLIDS are as follows: Yellow = 1, Blue = 2, Red = 3, Purple = 4, Orange = 5, Green = 6, Pink = 7, Black = 8. If you are close to 21 and the pt balls you need are not on the table, you may bank ANY ball for 1 pt (Adjacent banks are not permitted). If you scratch, the ball may be placed anywhere BEHIND the headstring line. If you scratch on break, your turn is over. Opponent has ball in hand anywhere behind the line. If you sink a ball and scratch. That ball counts.

MIDDLE 8

Played on rated protected tables. Played as any regular 1v1 SE 8-ball game except on 8-ball. The player(s) are only allowed to shoot the 8-ball in the top middle pocket or bottom middle pocket. Failure to pocket the 8-ball in either of these pockets result in a loss.

TOP MIDDLE 8

The player(s) are only allowed to shoot the 8-ball in the top middle pocket as selected by Yahoo as the default pocket to begin with. Failure to pocket the 8-ball in the top middle pocket will result in a loss.

BANK THE 8 SUICIDE Played on protected unrated tables. In this game, you need to be the first to sink black. However, you MUST bank either the 8 ball, or the cue ball when shoot the 8 (no adjacent banks). All other balls are potted normally. Scratch, foul, combo, do anything you can to sink black first .... but make sure its not on the break because thats a rerack. You will need to play best of three. The first person to two wins, will win the round.

BANK AND COMBO SUICIDE Played on protected unrated tables. In this game, you need to be the first to sink black. However, all shots must be either bank shots (at least one ball hitting rail before object ball goes in pocket, no adjacent banks), or combo shots (using at least 2 balls to pocket object ball, not including cue ball) Scratch, foul, do anything you can to sink black first .... but make sure its not on the break because thats a rerack. You will need to play best of three. The first person to two wins, will win the round.

BANK AND COMBO 10 SHOT All tables are training tables and protected. One player sits and shoots a total of 10 shots. However, all shots must be either bank shots (at least one ball hitting rail before object ball goes in pocket, no adjacent banks), or combo shots (using at least 2 balls to pocket object ball, not including cue ball) The other player must count out the shots one by one, so no one loses count. If the player scratches, they get ball in hand (shoot behind the line), but for every time there is a scratch, one ball will be removed from the final total. So if someone gets a total of 10 balls in, and scratches once, their total is 9. At the end of the 10 shots, all balls pocketed are counted. All balls are fair game, even the 8. Any ball that goes in, even by accident is counted. After player one does his 10 shots, they switch, and player 2 does his 10 shots. This is done 2 times. So each player gets two changes to make balls. After all 20 shots are counted, the player with the most balls made, advances.

BANK AND COMBO RACK AND RUN All tables are training tables and protected. Players get 2 fresh racks each. Players take turns at trying to run the table from break. However, all shots must be either bank shots (at least one ball hitting rail before object ball goes in pocket), or combo shots( using at least 2 balls to pocket object ball, not including cue ball) When a player misses or scratches they must count balls in pocket and stand (if you do not sink ball on break or scratch on break you have a second chance) There is no limit to amount of shots per turn, if you run out of balls re rack and start again continuing the count. The player with the highest total after 2 turns advances. If you move the cue at any stage with an exception to the break your turn is over and you must count balls made. If you scratch on break, you can keep goin, but you must shoot from behind the line.

BANK THE 8 FOUR CORNERS All tables are protected, rated, non-timer tables. Every shot must go into a corner, no shots are allowed to be potted in the center pockets. However, you MUST bank either the 8 ball, or the cue ball when shoot the 8. All other balls are shot normally. If you pot a ball into a center pocket on purpose, you will give your opponent BIH and receive one warning. If you do it twice, you will be disqualified. If you make a shot into a center pocket by accident [due to backwards english or what not] then you will keep going like it never happened. If you pot the 8 [black] into a center pocket, you are disqualified automatically.

BANK THE 8 ONLY

All tables are protected rated tables. This is a regular pool game, played as regular rules until the 8 ball. When you shoot the 8 ball, you MUST hit it off an opposite rail. You MUST bank the 8 ball ONLY, NOT the cue ball.

SURVIVOR This is plyed on training tables- 1v1 format- each player will take turns shoting. There are a set of balls for each player- PLAYER 1-Solids PLAER 2- Stripes you try to hit all of your oppontes balls in. If you sink all of you oponets balls in you have to hit the 8 in and you win.
1v1v1 format-This is the same as 1v1 rules just the balls are different. YOU DO NOT SINK THE 8 IN THIS GAME AFTER ALL OF THE OTHER BALLS!!! Here are the players balls PLAYER 1- Purple stripe, Red solid, Purple solid, Green solid, 8 ball PLAYER 2-Blue solid, Yellow stripe, Yellow Solid, Pink solid PLAYER 3- Blue Stripe , Orange stripe, Oreange solid, Red Stripe, Pink Stripe. The way the balls are decided is the first person to make a shot chooses the balls for EVERYONE!

FRIENDLY 8 All games are to be played on rated, protected tables. You will play like normal reg 8 ball, until you get to the 8 ball. To win you must pot the 8 ball in the pocket next to your seat. So for instance you are on the left seat you must hit it in the top left pocket and same goes for if you are in the right seat, you must pot the 8 ball in the upper right hand pocket.

REVENGE

Played as a reg 8 game, rated, protected tables. But, when you get a shot on the 8 ball, your opponent gets to call how the 8 must be sunk, either by banking it, calling a pocket or full power. If you fail to pot the 8 ball and your opponent eventually gets a shot at sinking the 8, you too will then dictate your opponent’s option. Here's the catch, you can't call the same finishing shot twice in a row, for example, if you specified you opponent must bank his first attempt at the 8 ball, you can only specify a pocket or full power if your opponent has another 8 ball opportunity. If you or your opponent fail at the three straight different 8 ball pot chances, then you go back to the first choice for the fourth, and so on. If 8 is pocketed other then how specified by opponent, then you will not be declared the winner. *Note - Cue banks allowed, but no adjacent banks, double or triple banking may not be specified.

BEHIND THE LINE

Played on training tables, each player shoots till he misses, then he stands and it is his opponents turn. THE CUE MUST BE MOVED BEHIND THE LINE BEFORE EACH SHOT. If one of your balls is behind the line then you must bank the cue off the OPPOSITE (right end of table) end and try to make it. It is played like regular 8, the first to make all their balls plus the 8 wins the game. If you scratch your opponent gets to put 1 of your balls back on the table anywhere they choose as long as it is NOT behind the line. After break please let your opponent know whether you are solids or stripes, makes for less confusion. If you miss on the break, you DO NOT get another chance.

NO ENGLISH

All tables are protected, rated tables. All games are regular 8 ball rules. The only catch is, you are not allowed to use english (The cue ball in upper right hand corner). You can not even use a little bit of backspin. The first time you are caught using english a warning will be issued, and opponent will get bih. The second time it happens the offending person will be DQ'd and opponent will advance.

SEARCH AND DESTROY

Training Tables.... best of 3........1v1.......1st player sits....Opponent nominates any ball they like on the table, then the player sitting has to pot that ball in the least amount of shots possible. Opponent has to count the amount of shots by typing on table (like in a 10shot tourney). Then the opponent sits and 1st player nominates ball. Scratching is a foul and IS counted as one shot. So you could have potted the nominated ball in 5 shots but scratched twice which would = 7 shot taken. If you pot the nominated ball and cueball at same time the ball is placed back onto table (say the 8ball spot) and cueball is placed behind the line, and it will count as 1 shot. After a player has potted their nominated ball, the table is reset so that each player starting always starts by breaking a fresh rack. Once both players have potted the nominated balls once and shots been counted, the table is reset and the cycle repeated. This is played as a best of 3 (bo3). A win is gained by the player to pot the ball in the least amount of shots. The winner is the player to get 2 wins.

LAST MAN STANDING

1v1........Training table........Player 1 sits........Shoots till he/she misses or scratches and then player 2 sits but DOES NOT RESET table they carry on clearing the table. Any ball can b potted except the 8ball which has to be potted last. The player who pots the black (last ball potted dont forget) is declared the winner, even if the white is sunk/scratched. If the 8ball is potted b4 all of the others are potted then it is placed back on to table on its spot or as close a possible.

4PLAY

This game is to be played on protected, un-timed and rated tables. BEFORE the start of the game, you must call TWO Pockets that are Off Limits to your opponent and they must call TWO Pockets that are Off Limits to you as well. Game play is normal with the exception that you MAY NOT sink a ball into a pocket that is off limits to you. If you ACCIDENTALLY slop a ball into an off limit pocket, you must tap and your opponent gets ball in hand. If you INTENTIONALLY shoot a ball into an off limit pocket, you can and will be disqualified. (*Note - Balls slopped in on the break DO NOT count.

TRIPLE FATE

This game is to be played on un-timed RATED and protected tables. Game play is normal with the EXCEPTION of the shot on the 8 ball. When shooting the 8ball your OPPONENT gets to call how the 8 must be sunk. They will choose Banking Full Power or Calling Your Pocket. If a Bank or Full Power is called by the opponent the player shooting gets to choose which pocket to pot the 8 in. When calling the pocket you MAY NOT choose a pocket that is blocked by balls as this would be considered a snooker. If there is a scratch while on the 8 the player MUST spot the cue ball anywhere on the table BEFORE the type of shot is called. You MAY NOT call the same type of shot twice in a row you must choose one of the other choices. (I.E - You may not call Bank twice in a row) If a player misses 3 times on the 8 you may choose ANY of the 3 shots again (rotation style). If 8 is pocketed other then how specified by opponent it will be considered a loss.

COPY CAT

Player has to sink his/her balls in the same color order as their opponent. If a players sinks red, yellow then misses.... Player 2 must shoot and sink red, yellow. Once the player has made the same shots in color and in order, then he/she can continue to shoot at their balls wherever they want. If you are unable to sink your balls in order because the balls was sunk by the other player or you made 2 at once, continue with the next color in the order. Ball in hand is permitted. Pocketing balls in the wrong order is ball in hand and player must tap the cue. This is played on protected and rated tables.

YELLOW BEFORE BLACK

  • you play as any regular 8 game but your yellow ball must be the last ball before you pocket the 8 ball as usual
  • 8 ball on the break is a rerack and you can sink any yellow ball on the break
  • if the yellow stripe is made on the break the player who gets stripes has the advantage to continue as any regular game. Same thing goes for the yellow solid
  • if you pocket your opponent's yellow ball during the game it is considered as a good shot and game continues since you just give your opponent an advantage
  • but if you pocket your own yellow ball at the wrong time for any reason, having your other balls still on the table, then you lose the game automatically...both players are requested to cancell the game and report results in the lobby
  • you can always use your yellow ball to do combos but your yellow ball must remain on the table after you make that shot
  • there is only one chance when you can sink your yellow ball if you make a combo, it is when you got only 2 color balls left on the table and the yellow ball sinks after the other ball goes in the pocket . If you do it viceversa you lose the game. example : you are stripes and you got 2 balls left on the table, let's say the blue stripe and the yellow stripe. if you try a to do a combo with these 2 balls, the solid blue must go in the pocket first and then the yellow stripe (if you get lucky) but never the other way round or you lose the game
  • so a special strategy is required to play this game by leaving the yellow and the black the very last balls to end the game
  • all other rules for regular 8 games are applicable in this tournament

GOLF

This game is played on training and protected tables, first player on left hand of the bracket plays first, cue ball must be moved and allocated anywhere behind the white line before the break

  • hole 1 ( red ) = top right pocket
  • hole 2 ( green ) = bottom right pocket
  • hole 3 ( blue or orange) = bottom middle pocket
  • hole 4 ( yellow ) = bottom left pocket
  • hole 5 ( pink ) = top left pocket
  • hole 6 ( purple or black ) = top middle pocket
----------------------------------------------------------------
  • you start the game from hole 1 and try to sink any ball in that pocket
  • if you sink a ball in hole 1 you continue shooting by trying to sink another ball in hole 2 and so on, always in clockwise direction
  • you cant proceed to the next hole until any player has made a ball in the correct pocket
  • as long as you dont miss or scratch you continue shooting
  • once you miss or scratch you stop shooting then count the balls you pocketed and stand up for your opponent to continue shooting
  • after the break, both players must never rerack when they take seat. they just need to touch the q ball gently and must not move any ball on the table. he/she needs to sink any ball in the hole his/her opponent just missed and continue the game from that hole, always in clockwise direction
  • there is a point value for each ball. each and every hole got a designated color.if you make any ball in the correct pocket you get just 1 point ( PAR) and if you sink the designated color in the correct pocket you get 2 extra points ( BIRDIE). example: if you make a red ball in hole 1 thats a BIRDIE (3 points) and if you make a blue ball in hole 1 you just get 1 point for that shot. when its your turn to shot at holes 3 and 6 ( middle pockets) you get a much higher chance to get a BIRDIE because there are 2 colors designated for each pocket.
  • the only chance to get an EAGLE is on the break. players can always sink balls on the break including the black ball.on the break, if you get the correct color in the correct pocket thats an EAGLE ! and we count 5 points for each EAGLE. so if you get so lucky and make 2 balls on the break, let's say one pink in hole 5 and one blue in hole 3 then you get 10 points.
  • all balls pocketed during the game should not be put back on the table.
  • game ends when all 15 balls are pocketed and the player with highest points wins the match

THE COUNTING GAME
  1. Game is played on protected training tables. First name invites second name sits first.
  2. Move cue ball at least 1 ball width on break.
  3. Players shoot to clear all balls off table and COUNT each shot until all balls are potted.
  4. Second player does same until all balls are potted, ONLY 1 rack each.
  5. WINNER is player with LOWEST amount of shots taken to clear table of all balls.
  6. Scratch counts 2 points, Scratch on break = player adds 2 points and continues to shoot.
  7. You may shoot ANY ball at ANY time, Including 8 ball.

STICK POCKETS

When players reach the 8 ball they must choose a pocket and must stick with that pocket to sink the 8 ball until end of the game. Basically, if a player chooses the top middle pocket on his first attempt, they then must nominate the top middle pocket for each shot thereafter. Obviously opponents can choose a different pocket for when they reach the 8 ball.

TRIANGLES

The invitee (second person named) may only shoot at the bottom middle, top left and top right pockets. If you shoot one of yours in and a ball also goes into your opponents
