Set Ladder killer/winner
Getting Started
Now that you’re a member of the League, you’re probably wondering how to start competing in tournaments. Well, you’ve come to the right place!

What is a League?
MyLeagues are powered by Case’s Ladder, but are managed and maintained by private individuals.

MyLeague offers dozens of statistics, dedicated message forums, live chat, hot/cold streaks, premium membership options, skill ratings, and much more.

League Admins
A MyLeague is owned and managed by the Head Admin. The Head Admin has the final decision for regular operations of the League, determines the rules for their League, and has complete autonomy over how the League is managed. Head Admins may appoint other Admins to assist with managing the League. A list of the League Admins is located on the Home tab.

If you experience problems or have any questions about the League, then you should contact the League Admins by clicking on the "Contact Admins" link located on the Support tab.

Where to Play
The League you joined may offer League matches and/or tournament matches. The matches are played at a gaming site, such as Yahoo or Pogo, and then the results of the matches are posted to the League and your stats on the League are automatically updated.

The gaming site that your League plays at is displayed on the League’s Home tab. You will need to create a separate account at the gaming site if you do not already have one.

Typically, gaming sites provide several game rooms for the games at their site, so you will need to find which game is played on the League you joined and which game room the League uses for their matches. This information can usually be found on the League’s Home tab, or you can use the Contact Admin link on the Support tab to ask the League Admin(s).

Tournaments
A tournament is a short-term competition with a scheduled beginning and a specific end. When a tournament begins, each player is paired up with an opponent (or more than one opponent, depending on the format of the tournament). Tournaments can be for “LadderStats”, in which case the results are reported to the League and stats are automatically updated.

For a complete list of tournaments for your League, visit the Tournament Calendar located on the Tournaments tab. You can access the page for a specific tournament by clicking on the jump number. Once you have selected the tournament you would like to join, the information for that tournament will be listed under the 'Tournament Info' heading.

For more information about tournaments, please visit our list of Common Questions on the Support tab, or contact an Admin on the League.

 League-Specific Rules
  • Only 100% SetValue Games on ladder.Report killer/winner only. MidEast link only.RandomPlacement

  • Reporting: When you are KILLED you shall report the player that KILLED you as soon as you come out of game. Then, you MUST report the winner of the game within 24 hrs, IF the winner is different player than the one that killed you. Usually as long as you report killer the admins will take care of the win reports if needed.

    • If a new player gets 5 non-reports to there killer they will get 5 days in the box or possibly kicked off ladder. Then the next non-report to killer will get them 6 days and so on.New player= any unknown name or anyone under 100 reports.
  • Freeze/Boot/Spinner (FBS) Rule:-

  • If an FBS occurs on or after the 7th round or 14th round then the following rules becomes applicable:-

  • If at any time, after the beginning of the "7th round", there is an FBS. Then, if the 1st and/or 2nd strongest players have 3 times (3x) as many men as either the weakest or second weakest players, then the 2 weakest players must give a loss report to the 2 strongest players.

  • If at any time, after the beginning of the "14th round", there is an FBS. Then, if the 1st and/or 2nd strongest players have 2 (2x) times as many men as either the weakest and/or second weakest players, then the 2 weakest players must give a report to the 2 strongest players.

  • With both of the above, if any players had the same number of men then ‘cases formula’ would be applied as a tie-breaker.

  • With a rule like this, not all FBS would get reports. But it would be a way for the 2 strongest to get something from the game, and the weakest 2 would not be saved by an FBS.

  • If an FBS occurs and there are only 2or 3 players left in the game then the following takes effect:-

  • A player will only be declared the WINNER in the following 2 circumstances:-

  • 1st. A player has more armies than the other 2 players put together or,

  • 2nd. If the 2 weakest players agree that the strongest player has the win.

  • IN BOTH OF THESE CIRCUMSTANCES AN SS (screenshot) MUST BE SENT TO THE HEAD ADMIN (TheTrickster00). We would advise that for security you make sure you have a copy of the SS saved as backup as well, (it might also be an idea to send it to the other Admins as well).

No Intentual Stalling:There will be no intentual stalling of games. If you are rolled against you have 1 minute to roll.If you are intentually stalling a game and someone quits because of it. Then the player that was intentually stalling the game will be boxed as per the quitting rule.

  • No Quitting Games on Purpose:-

  • If u quit a game for any reason other than an emergency, then these will be the punishments.

  • 1st Offence = 3 days in box .

  • 2nd Offence = 6 days box .

  • 3rd Offence = 30 days box.

  • No Bashing in Games:-

  • No really bad bashing words in the heat of battle when you get mad, or dont agree with being hit by a player. You all know exactly what we mean by this. Try to follow the guidelines in rules for abuse. So bashing punishments are as follows.

  • 1st Offence = Loss of 10 rungs.

  • 2nd Offence = Loss of rungs equivalent to half your rank.

  • 3rd Offence = Loss of rungs equivalent to half your rank and 5 days in the box.

  • For example, losing half your rank. If you are say #10 and you bash someone for a second time and there are 70 ranked players on the ladder. 70 (number of ranked players on ladder) minus 10 (your rank) = 60. Divide this number by 2 = 30, this would be the number of rungs u would loose. Therefore your new rank would be #40 If player is not ranked high enough to loose half then they become unranked again.

  • Treat people the way u want to be treated and if someone gets out of hand, remember 2 wrongs dont make a right. Just SS it and send it to Admin and we will sort out the punishments.

  • These rules apply to EVERYONE on ladder EVEN the ADMINS.

  • Rankings:When you defeat a higher ranked player you move up 25% the distance between their rank and your own.

  • Same House Rule: Same House Rule. NO 2 players can play in the same game. The only exception from this is, if ALL (and it must be ALL) the players in the room agree to 2 players (from the same house) playing.
