: I can say without hesitation that Susie and Dave are not only good players but also adhere to the rules. Susie has continually maintained the tourney room despite considerable personal issues she has suffered. She and Dave are two of the best people I know. Some of his language, particularly towards females, can be extremely personal, however, unbelievably in my view, some actually enjoy it on the basis of a joke. At the very least they have little respect for themselves or indeed the Ladder Ops who volunteer their time free of charge to ensure fair play and that Cases Rules are enforced, let alone of course for other players.

They, in all probability, lack evidence, that is to say hard facts supported by screen shots and therefore the matter is simply a waste of the complainants and Ladder Ops time. Disputes regarding the rules are equally a complete waste of time. If one does not like a rule, then if one can obtain a majority vote from all the other players this should simply be submitted to Cases for review. If a player breaks the rules then evidence should be simply provided to the Ladder Ops for action. Pointless sending them opinions and then complaining that the Ladder Ops have failed to take notice or favour a particular player etc.

What is important is basic respect, understanding and forgiveness. One player has never forgiven me for a misunderstanding and error, for which I sincerely apologised for, and prefers to continue to use false propaganda regarding myself and/or my friends. Indeed some of this players language in name calling, people baiting and false information is frankly unbecoming of any player.
