Out comes the watered down Makers, Wait til next year for Texas Tech and Oklahoma with a better quarterback to replace Bradford, now if they can find an offensive line. And for christmas I hope you receive your playoff sy.stem

: Sweet. This year has the makings of a BCS nightmare and hopefully the death of this horrible sys.tem. No other sport decides a championship based upon sportswriters opinions, coaches opinions...etc...all other sports have this cool thing called playoffs.

: For College football fans out there, you've gotta be excited about the prospect of a college football playoff sys.tem. As of today Florida, Texas, Alabama, Iowa, Cincinnati, TCU and Boise State are undefeated. Alabama and Florida will play each other, presumably, if they both finish their schedule undefeated, in the SEC title game.

: The SEC will have an undefeated team - FL/ALA. This is probable. Florida's toughest game is South Carolina, and *should* not be close. Alabama plays LSU tomorrow, and is favored, but that means nothing. It is probable that the SEC will have an undefeated team going into the bowls, 75%.

: The Big 12 will have an undefeated team - Texas. This is more than likely. They are far and away the class of the Big 12. They also have to play a championship game, but should walk away with double-digit wins in their remaining games. Texas will probably be undefeated going into the bowl games, 85%.

: The Big 10 will have an undefeated team - Iowa. Iowa has a difficult road to travel, but not an impossible one. Of the undefeated teams listed, they are the most likely to stumble along the way, as they play at Ohio State in 8 days. Iowa doesn't have to worry about a conference championship game, which helps. It is a 45% chance that Iowa will be undefeated going into bowl season.

: The Big East will have an undefeated team - Cincinnati. Cincinnati has 4 games remaining, their last of which will be a road game against Pittsburgh, currently #14. Like Iowa, they need not worry about a conference championship game, and unlike Iowa, they don't fk around with close games. It is a 95% chance that UC will be undefeated going into bowl season.

: The Mountain West will have an undefeated team - TCU. TCU plays one ranked team in the next month, #17 Utah. They beat down the other Mormons convincingly (BYU), and are a 90% chance to enter the bowls undefeated.

: The WAC will have an undefeated team - Boise State. That is, if they can pull out a narrow victory against Louisiana Tech tonight. 98% chance that Boise St will be undefeated going into bowl season.

: Is it likely that 6 teams will be undefeated a month from now? Not really. 5 teams? Yes. Until now, an undefeated team from a major conference NOT going to the championship game has only happened once, Auburn from the SEC in 2004. Last year Boise State was undefeated and ranked in the top 10, but was denied even a BCS bowl game, much less a championship hope.

: This year it is possible that 4 of the 6 major conferences will have undefeated teams, and two lesser conferences as well. Only 2 teams can compete for the national championship, and 4 unbeaten teams will be left out. That is the big thing, the thing that will likely bring down the corrupt and hideously ridiculous BCS.

:
: Another interesting scenario developing is Boise St having beaten Oregon in the 1st game this college football season. You may remember the punch at the end of the game, it was a sweet sucker punch if there ever was one. Currently Boise St is ranked #7 in the BCS standings and Oregon ranked #8. Oregon is from the PAC 10 which gets an automatic BCS bowl game. If Oregon, which does NOT play a conference championship game, runs their table, they are guaranteed a BCS bowl game, and a shitload of money. Boise State will likely run their table and not even get into a BCS game, because TCU is ranked ahead of them and has a much harder schedule in front of them. What does this mean? It means that a one-loss Oregon will play in a BCS bowl game while the team they lost to (Boise State) does not....even though Boise State went undefeated and had a better BCS ranking. It will also bust a nut all over the face of the fucktards who say, "College football is special because EVERY GAME is important." Really, how important was that Oregon game against Boise St?

: Cats and dogs will be living together...mass hysteria! For football fans anyway.

: Oh, and I'll not be arguing politics vis-à-vis this forum for awhile, it's the holiday season and that's the only reason I tolerate the in-laws.

: Good day, happy hunting, Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Sweet Mfkn Kwanza foshizzle, Ramadan up your ass you fuckin' muslims, Feliz Navidad to my illegal friends, and least of all, Happy BewareoftheCommies decade to Ike and your closet hiding buddies!
