Here's a bit of information about tourney hosting requirements on MyLeagues. (Please note that Official Case's Ladders may have their own requirements that differ from these) I hope this information can help everyone out a bit. :)

* There is no hosting requirement to host tournaments with an entry fee. TDs can start charging entry fees with their first tournament, if they want, so long as the Head Admin is fine with it.

* There is no hosting requirement to host Swiss-Style tournaments. However, an HTD must set the TD account as "Swiss Approved" before the TD can host these.

* The system requires users to host 20 tournaments before hosting a Double-Elimination tournament. However, as janet pointed out with that old forum post of mine that she copy and pasted here, it's possible for an HTD to edit your TD Stats to get around this. If an HTD edits your TD stats to be over 20, you can start hosting Double Eliminations right away. Then after you host 20 real tournaments, to keep your stats accurate, the HTD can subtract those initial 20 tournaments that they "loaned" you, so that your stats will be accurate. :)

* It is possible for your League Staff to import your TD stats from another League. All they have to do is use the "Edit TD Stats" tool from their HTD menu. Therefore, if your Head Admin is okay with you bringing TD stats over from an old League, they can edit your stats to match the number on the old League. :)
