You can not gift to someone that has already had a freebie one. Which is why these tourneys some myleagues especially put on where winner gets a free gold membership hardly ever work out right. Because if the winner has already had one it won't work.

If they quit league make new name and re-join league you should be able to gift them a gold! However WARNING they will lose all their bux. Because they can't move them.
: I really want to gift a gold membership to someone on my league. I do think we should be able to gift to someone even if they've been a gold member before. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but just recently upgraded to diamond after a few years.
