Are you trying to play online or offline and get the error? If online you can only play through kali or IP to IP, if offline I would suggest to uninstall including delete shortcut and reinstall. If you downloaded the game from the internet without a cd, that could be missing some files. The cd can be picked up pretty cheap on ebay. Good Luck, Guppy2

  I am trying to play offline. I reinstalled it and it still has the same error message. Maybe the game is just so old because its the same one that I have used for years. If you have any other ideas let me know.

    Age of the disk should have no facter unless it has a scratch. What you can try is go to www.google.com and put that error message in the search box and it should tell you what it is. I still run tw99 on all my new computers with XP. I don't have the new Vista yet so I don't know. I've had some capatibility issues with Tiger2k7 which I never had with 99.

      By the way when putting the error message in google it has to be exact! spelling, spacing,punctuation, everything.So copy and paste or write down carefully.
