Not sure how many of you remember me :) But this is Traegon. I'm not sure if what just happened was real or not, perhaps someone can shed some light. If it is, it puts a very bad taste in my mouth:I was playing monopoly against someone, and after 3 times of paying 50 dollars to get out of jail, but staying in jail, I asked them to please unrate the game, thinking there was a bug.
My opponent says one second, he's getting a booter. Next thing I know, someone named Raynal comes in, tells me to roll or my account with be deleted and my IP blocked forever. They did NOT at any time identify themselves as an admin for the site.
I continue to say, that the game has apparently screwed up, so it would only be fair to unrate the game and I didn't want to roll until that was done. Then I made mention it's illegal to threaten to hack someones (as again, I had no clue this was an admin, if it really was. Booter to mean does not mean admin).
But a brief conversation, Raynal says that my IP will be emailed to him within 30 minutes and my account/name deleted.
Then I realized Hateway was doing what he called 'stagging'. Somehow mortaging/unmortaging to keep hismelf in jail. I told him 'why didn't you just tell me this to begin with? I thought all this time it was a bug and that's why I wanted it unrated.'
So.. any comments? If Raynal truly was an admin and my account is deleted, when he didn't even /identify/ himself as an admin and it was never told to me during the echange by him or my opponent that it wasn't a bug, then it leaves a very bad taste in my mouth.
Btw, I really miss Milles and the /nice/ (and somewhat sane) people.Traegon.

Because this is a Monopoly issue, and it happened there, it should be discussed in Monopoly or H2H (head to head), and not in the Mille Bornes Forum.I realize that we have no game at the moment, and won't for quite some time, but this really isn't the place to discuss such things.
Thanks.

It wasn't so much an issue with monopoly, just wondered if anyone else ever had that kinda of run in before :) Is all. It wasn't a ladder game, was just some guy I was playing.

You are ok Traegon. I didn't mind reading your post since one day I may find myself in the same shoes. It's nice to know the issues that the new games.com is having and I thank you for sharing. We are bored out of our gourds without Mille. Any post here is fun and educating while we wait out the time we can have Mille back. Sorry you had such a bad experience with your game. You are certainly not alone.
