QUESTION - REFUSAL OF CHALLENGE View

On this ladder you can play the same person twice. Question is this: A player challenges you to a match, you are ranked higher so you must accept a valid challenge. After the game, or later that day, the same player challenges you and you are still ranked higher than that player, and you say no to that challenge, under the rules that you CAN play the same player twice, is the second match refusal a refusal of a valid challenge, bearing in mind that they have already played once

  The way I have handles it is:
  Whether I am the up game or the down game, if my opponent requests a 2nd game I gladly play the 2nd game. If not we just play the one. Guess I am so used to playing one game per player per day. I know that doesn't answer the legality of playing or not playing the 2nd game, but this is a new ladder -- go with the flow and when it becomes established then we as a group can look at potential problem area.

  as far as i know when your allowed to play same person twice, the second challange is as valid as the first an can,t be refused if your the up and you must accept it

  personally I think with the teice per day ruling and you had not played that person a second time that it would still count as a refusal just like it would if it were the first game. Thats my opinion though.
