Known issues:
Room: Let me know specifics when contacting me if you are experiencing any problems either in the room or trying to get in the rooms. I will need to let SHG tech know of any problems so they may fix it.
Crawford Game: SHG seems to allow the leading player to cube during the Crawford game. This is NOT allowed. Penalties may be applied. Please read below and contact me if you have any questions. CRAWFORD RULE (Crawford game) The Crawford rule is used in a backgammon match play when someone gets within 1 point of winning the match. On the next game (Crawford game) the doubling cube can not be used. However on subsequent games the cube is again available. There is currently a "glitch" on the Crawford allowance at SHG they are looking into it. *****REMEMBER THE CRAWFORD RULE. CRAWFORD RULE.IS WHEN EITHER PLAYER REACHES ONE POINT FROM VICTORY, THE NEXT GAME (THE "CRAWFORD GAME") SHALL BE PLAYED TO CONCLUSION WITH NO USE OF THE CUBE. IF MATCH GOES INTO ANOTHER GAME, THE CUBE WILL BE BACK IN PLAY
THESE EXAMPLES ARE BASED ON A 3 PT MATCH.... example 1: end of game 1 score 1/0 cube available next game. end of game 2 score 2/0 NO CUBE game 3 is the crawford game. end of game 3 score 2/1 cube is now again available.
example 2. end of game 1 score 2/0 no cube next game 2 to is the crawford game end of game 2 score 2/1 cube is again available in game 3
example 3: end of game 1 score 1/0 cube available next game end of game 2 score 1/1 cube is available for game 3 end of game 3 score 2/1 game 4 this is now the crawford game and NO cube is available. end of game 4 score is 2/2 NO cube is necessary for game 5 as it is match pt.
