As I understand the events, Jim and Cathie had been trying to reach their daughter at her apartment for a couple of days but to no avail. Jim decided to check on her personally and unfortunately was the one who found her. Tiffany had been suffering seizures over the past few years, and apparently, a severe one was the cause!

The one thing that haunts any parent .... has befallen one of our linksters .... truly a devestating situation!

The memorial service will be held at 2PM, Saturday, January 2 at the Cypress Fairbanks Funeral Home (281 897-9823), 9926 Jones Road, Houston, TX 77065. www.cyfairfunerals.com

Jim and Cathie will be creating a memorial garden for Tiffany and would request that anyone who is thinking of sending flowers ... send a potted plant instead, so that it can be reused for her memorial!

Zap is a close friend of mine, so I had suggested that he let me post something in Forum, since he is a very respected longtime member of our Links community! Please feel free to contact Jim directly if you are so inclined!

I know that you all sympathize with the tremendous pain that they must be experiencing, and join me in conveying our collective and heartfelt deepest condolences to Jim, Cathie and the Mason family!

  It has been suggested that a tree might make a fitting start to a memorial! I think this is a great idea, and am posting to see if anyone else thinks so! A collective, living gift is a very nice enduring thought!
