If anyone has ever heard me talk about the OSU Buckeyes, and how this whole town (Columbus, Ohio) seems to revolve around them, I have got a story to tell;
The almighty Buckeyes lost to USC last Saturday afternoon. "OH, NO", "WAAAAH", and all that other crap was being said. A few disgruntled fans decided to vent their frustration by setting miscellaneous garages on fire, with one being near my home. OK, so now no electricity or telephone due to burnt up lines. Then Sunday afternoon, Mother Nature decides to unleash 75 MPH winds on the already bruised city. 3/4ths of the city has no power and/or telephone service, and all most seem to care about is if Beanie Wells will be able to play football for the Buckeyes this Saturday.
Go Figure, eh?
After what seemed like a very long time, I am happy to report I have power, phone, and internet access again.
