Our warmest Welcome to all the players who joined the League in March. We are very happy to have you in our league and sincerely hope you will have as much fun playing in Veteran�s Vortex room with us as we do.
For those players new to Mah Jong, we have some helpful links that might help understand Mah Jong Basics & Yahoo Scoring and Fan Counting. You might also like to check some Yahoo Scoring Examples. Please feel free to go there and take a look.
Any help or information you may need, please do not hesitate to contact any TD or Admin. We will be more than happy to help. And, don�t forget to send your photo to Rindy so she can add it to the League�s Photo Album. Her email is: rindy_1970@yahoo.com.
If at some point you happen to find yourself �short of buxes� to join the tourneys, please do not �quit� the League and rejoin to get buxes again � Cases might ban you from rejoining the League if you do so. Just ask in lobby and the TDs will find a premium member who can gift buxes to you. TY.
Happy Birthday to all the league members born in April. Please remember to submit your Birthday Tourney Request as early as possible so our wonderful TDs can make a special tourney just for you and we can all celebrate your birthday too.

This month of April we will be having the Spring Festival. The winner will be crowned as our World Champion. Please check the main page for details and links.

Just as a reminder�
The T.O.C. is played the first week-end of every month. It is an �invitation only tourney�; so, if you won a tourney the previous month you qualify and will get the automatic invite in your mail. You only need to CHECK-IN to play when the tourney time comes, since you have already been registered. In case you did win a tourney and didn�t get an invite, please contact any Admin to fix the problem.
The Rank Advancement Tourney is played the second week-end of every month. The four finalists get the first four spots of the Ladder.
The B.O.S. is played the third week-end of every month; the link for registration will be in a banner on the League Main Page.
Mims� is hosting again her Big Bux donation tourneys the last Sunday of every month.
NOTE: Upcoming Big Tourneys are always posted in advance in the League�s Main Page so don�t forget to check. Besides, you will have the chance to check on caattaa�s amazing job with the page. Thanks Cata!!!

I know I am kind of boring saying this over and over, but please remember we NEED MORE TDs in all the time slots� The more the merrier!!!
