RULES CLARIFICATIONJust want to send out a clarification on mistake that was made on judging a tourney. The bottom line correct judgment is "No player can be awarded a win for a game or tourney if they were not present at the end of the game." In other words, when the game ends and you're not around, you cannot be awarded a win. We have yet seen a valid exception to this ruling because how can a player win without being around? Taking this ruling guideline to be true, it also extends to tag team tourneys. Tag team tournaments are a team competition and not a individual player competition, so whatever happens to you or to your teammate effects the whole team. If a player throws out a bad tile and another player mjs, the team loses not the just the player who threw it out. If player dc and dq by timer rule, the whole team is dq and not just the individual player. If a player mj wrongs the whole team is dq and not just the individual player. Therefore, when a player mjs on the last hand and wins, the teammate must be present because it's a team win and not an individual win.

-------------------------------------------------------------REFRESHER
I have a few things to mention since I have received a few Ym/email on certain topics.
A.) in Swiss if player is dq in a round... they ARE NOT DQ on all rounds if they make it back to start the new round after a dq.
B.) SUBS - when subs are used the SUB will MJ and play as normal as if it were their own game!. It is to be just like normal play, do not ask or tell a sub not to Mj. A sub is merely sitting in a seat where the regular would have been sitting and would infact have the Mj. Subs are no different then a player at the table.
C.) TD/HTD"s have total control of their own tnys, please do not make judgments for them or answer for them, please give them the RESPECT THEY DESERVE. Things get confusing at times, please use YM to ask them questions, and not confuse the lobby by making comments and asking in there unless it benefits all. Bottom line: LET THE TD/HTD MAKE A DECISIONS. in tables or lobby. It confuses everyone if others are trying to conduct another's tny.
