In the south, it's a tradition to get into as much "meaness" as you possibly can at Halloween. Being the good southern girl that I am, I took it to heart. At 11 years old, it was time for me to join the neighborhood pranksters and stir up some "trouble". My older sister, a cousin and several of their friends let me tag along on a Halloween mission to roll the local middle school with toilet paper. Being the youngest, it fell on my shoulders to be the scout and make sure that we weren't caught. Obviously, I felt this was below my stature in the party and I sulkingly decided that if I couldn't help throw the toilet paper over the large oak trees in the front yard of the school, then they just deserved to be caught. Unfortunately, I should have done as I was told. About 15 minutes after we arrived, a deputy sheriff, on his appointed rounds, happened to drive by the school. Did I happen to mention how chunky I was as a child? Yes, you guessed it. I fought the law and the law won. After being apprehended, I was promptly placed in the back of the patrol car and escorted to the police station. Did I happen to mention my grand-father was the Chief of Police? Yep. I didn't have to wait for my parents to spank me. Grandpaw took care of that for them. Needless to say... I never enjoyed "rolling" yards again.

LMAO.....Sticking with the southern theme when I was around 11 years old, we were getting to old to trick or treat, we would take the eggs from our refrigerator and "egg" the cars passing by. Guess we did it 1 time too many, a guy stopped his car in the middle of the road and chased it. There was 4 of us and we all went our seperate ways. Thank God he wasnt from the neighborhood and didnt know that we were throwing the eggs from the side of my house.
