  I have spoken with Jo's mum during the week and as of Thursday 23/09 there was no change either way in Jo's condition.

  I am sorry I can not bare anything good for you all.
  

I think Jo would like me to expand a little on her condition as I visited her yesterday in hospital.

For those of you that remember her last stroke, this one has been much more severe. Yesterday was 7 days after she collapsed - thankfully at her parents rather than alone - and although she can not speak and was not "coherently reacting" to what I was saying to her, she is awake and while I was there determined to pull her catheter out and deny the nurses a chance to take her blood pressure.

I do not think she will be leaving hospital for quite some time, but I will be making my way up there when I can to see her.

I will keep you informed, although on a lighter note that will mean somebody having to play me occasionally to stop me purging!
