I wanted to update you on Jo's condition. Since Monday, she has been responding with her left hand to her family which is remarkable progress.

I will be heading to see her tomorrow and so I will update you if there is any more progress.

    I went to see Jo last night and she is doing much better than I expected. She is communicating by pointing to a "Yes / No" board and is able to laugh but you can see in her eyes that it annoying her that she can not speak again yet.

    Her right hand side is still very much inactive, she has to physicall move her hand with her left hand to reposition it. I did find that she is now ticklish behind her left knee!

    But she IS compus mentis and she knows you send your love, at which point I spent about 10 minute drying her eyes. But the nurse who I was talking to at her bedside said that she expects Jo to be in for about another 6 weeks at the most optimistic.
