I'm on my way to Heaven, my journey has just begun.
I've cancer in my kidney, my time here is almost done.
My angels stand by waiting, for the time to lead the way.
I'm ready, oh I'm ready, if I could just go today.
I've read the many stories, of the people who have seen,
The sights of Earth and Heaven, and all of what's in between.
The tunnels with the music and the lights that brightly shine,
The many souls that greet us with a love that's so divine.
The Angels are rejoicing with our God there at the throne,
They're waiting there for Jesus to quietly bring me home.
My time line now is open, it could be months or years,
Just know that I am ready and I'll be waiting here.
