  Shelly they do not have WIFI.(sorry) When I called I asked about reservations, as of today they have only 1 - one bedroom left, 8- two bedrooms are left. I encourage anyone that is on thinking they might come to make your reservations. You have up until 2 weeks prior to the trip to cancel with no loss of money. It is great so many people are coming I think it will be alot of fun. Thank you for the recognition, Cyn, but really I have not done much. You, Mike and Mindy are the ones to thank. Make your reservations everyone. Remember also the Holiday Inn is available also.

    Woo Hoo! I just made my reservations at Grandpappys. I am so looking foward to this. My husband, sister, and possible BIL are coming up a day early, and going to the Windstar Casino in Oklahoma. It's about 30 mins away from Denison.

    Cyn, since I will be there early on Friday, let me know if there is any way I can help.

    This is going to be so much fun! Hmmm....wondering if the resort has WiFi!!!!!

      Yvw Sue..Mindy and Robin have also been a great help in making this event possible. A big THANKS to Mike, Mindy and Robin. As I have stated several times...members are speaking highly of the get together and are anxious for it to be here. Last count I have is 32 people including members and families coming.

        I do know when you do and when you do not lose money. If in fact you made a reservation online to save money and have paid for it, by all means stay there. I am sure there are others that will be staying there as well. No one ever said that everyone had to stay at the lake or at the Holiday Inn. The lake was, as stated over and over, an alternate choice. One that is at the lake and provides added activities. However, staying at the Holiday Inn is fine too. I am sure driving back and forth 10 miles will not be a problem. Glad you are coming and I look forward to meeting you!

              Folks: for everyones info, the only TWO possibilities considered were the holiday in and the grandpappy marine. After checking out prices, locations, and amenities, grandpappy was the best overall bargain plus it has the vacation and camping we were looking for. There is a group looking into this and your gonna be surprised at how nice and relaxing this is gonna be. I would encourage anyone with questions to contact sweetangel or myself. I am so looking forward to meeting a group of the forevers family. At last count we have almost 30 verbally committed so its going to be a huge turnout.                 Hello everyone..several members have commented about staying at the lake..we have looked into this and found a very nice area at Texoma lake that will be enjoyable by all. I will be giving the details and we would love to hear y'alls feed back as to which you would prefer. The Marina will provide us with a commons area in which we can cook, chat, play games, etc. I have posted the link on the tag board but will post it here as well. Please let us know what you think. The lady did sugest to me that we reserve these cabins as soon as possible as they will go fast. We have several members who have already reserved some.                   I HAVE NOT SEEN WHERE THE LOCATION HAS BEEN CHANGED ONCE MUCH LESS THREE TIMES. I HAVE LOOKED AND COULD ONLY FIND WHERE THE LOCATION WAS ALWAYS SET AT LAKE TEXOMA. MAYBE I AM MISSING SOMETHING SOMEWHERE. AS FAR AS THE ACCOMODATIONS BEING CHANGED, I ONLY SEE WHERE THERE WAS ANOTHER OPTION THAT WAS GIVEN THAT LOOKED TO ME TO BE ALOT BETTER FOR ALL CONCERNED. A PLACE THAT IS RIGHT ON THE LAKE WITH AREAS OF ACTIVITIES FOR EVERYONE. NO DRIVING BACK AND FORTH AND SEVERAL PLACES WHERE EVERYONE COULD CONGREGATE. AS FAR AS PEOPLE WHO HAVE PAID THEIR MONEY............WHO MAY I ASK HAS PAID ANY MONEY? I THINK THE EFFORT THAT HAS BEEN PUT INTO GETTING THE TRIP TOGETHER SHOULD BE APPRECIATED NOT CRITICIZED. I KNOW I FOR ONE WOULD LOVE TO MEET EVERYONE AND IF A LOCATION THAT IS BETTER FOR THE REUION IS AN IMPROVEMENT AND THERE IS NO MONEY LOST WHY COMPLAIN. AS I HAVE READ AND SEEN NO CREDIT CARDS HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR ANYONE AND SO NO MONEY IS LOST AND IF CALLING AND CHANGING YOUR RESERVATION IS THAT MUCH TROUBLE THEN STAY WHERE YOU HAVE MADE YOUR RESERVATION (IF IN FACT YOU HAVE, WHICH I DO NOT THINK HAS HAPPENED)!                     No Kev..it has not been changed several times. Anyone who has already made an reservation has not paid anything..as the rooms are not charged until u check in...besides..those that have reservations at Holiday Inn may keep them if they choose to...as I stated several times...Granpappy's Marina is for "THOSE" who had commented about staying at the lake.:) It is another option for members:)

                      I'd like to meet everyone who is a member of Forevers. It sounds like fun. However, this is the third destination and the very reason I won't book a suite/room because it's changing too much. As a suggestion, why not have a deadline of February 28 for any and all proposed destinations and let everyone vote and the let majority rule and then let it be placed in stone then we can call book what is needed and be done?
