From the time I started earning money for work done, my Dad began to instill in me the idea of "an honest days work for an honest days pay". Of course, over my work life, I've sluffed off here and there, but it's this work philosophy, or as some might say "having morals" that used to be tbe backbone of society. That being said, we all have to deal with "brb" during games. Things are going to come up for various reasons. But I'll never appreciate the many times a player says, "brb, boss is coming". Surfing the net is bad enough but it's one thing most do when a moment of boredom hits, but to knowingly sign up for what might take up to two hours? Whatever happened to mroals? It gets tiresome having to wait on a brb because of "bosses and/or customers". If we're at work, we should be doing just that.- Something My Dad Taught Me View

I agree with Joeeiison. Certain members continue to be slow and because a TD has several tables to attend cannot always see the slow play....and no warnings are made....so I agree if you are at work why play and chance it for the boss to walk in....play after work alllllllllllll night long...ty- Re: Something My Dad Taught Me View

Where members play from is of no concern to us...be it work, home, the local cafe or library......
All we ask if steady play.
Everyone should read and follow the rules for all tourneys regarding brb's. ... Excessive brbs whould be given a warning after which a DQ for slow play and/or delay of game.
Very simple......steady play, no excessive brb's ... tourney games must keep moving!!!They play from work that is their problem....we will enforce the steady play rule and delay of game.
Hope that clears this up.
