  • How can I play if I can't run TS2? View

Since I'm using 64 bit Windows, I can only load TS3. (unless someone knows how to install TS2 on it)

So, my questions are - Is anyone hosting with TS3 or is there another way to get an IP to join a game?

I believe I have Links running, but have only been able to play solo and haven't verified online will work.

Well, it looks like I can play online in my local network. Once I find someone out there to play, I'll give it a shot.

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and TS2 isn't compatible. Is there a workaround for that?

Anyway, I used to play quite a bit and hung out at gamespy up until the end after most moved on to 99 or 2k. When I went to XP, I could never get it to play right, so just put it aside. I tried to install it on Vista, but it just gives an install error that it requires a 32 or 16 bit to run, so I never tried again when I loaded Windows 7.

Well, lo and behold, since I always kept my original install directory (from back in 98-2000 days) so I would never lose my setting on a reinstall (I'd install, then copy the folder with courses, sound and ani's back in to it), on a whim, I clicked on the ls98 exe and what do you know...the game ran! I didn't have to install it, it just played. I've played a few rounds now and it seems stable, just haven't been able to do an actual on-line match.
