Damn CD doesn't work with my version of windows 7!!!!

Go to my website, click on "Monopoly" and download the Sucker! The instructions on download, set up etc. are on the Monop web page.
One thing I can't correct (After I was able to upload the ZIPPED cd, Comcast allows only megs to be uploaded at one time! (Thankfully, I got the monop up before they made that stupid ruling.)As it says in the directions, you need to unzip the files and out them in 1 (ONE) folder.
I accidentally put another zip of the same program in the zip file............trash it!Then, the rest is nothing different than I have told you so far.
You seem to be absolutely trying to avoid all the advice and info I have provided thus far.
Go through all the below posts and put it together...........the Internet settings, the game loading settings etc. What I have (apparently) provided to you, you have shrugged
it off, basically telling me that you got info from someone else and completely ignoring what I KNOW FOR A FACT WORKS!
Stop hunting and PAY ATTENTION!
If you do EXACTLY so, the game will work.I know this because I have followed my directions (to be sure they work with win 7) and have had NOT ONE SINGLE PROBLEM RUNNING THE MONOP GAME ON A WIN 7 op-sys. (32 BIT NOT A 64 BIT PROCESSOR!)The 64 BIT processor will eventually become the norm. This game was put out back in the day (I think it was originally put out as a win 95
If you have Win 7 with a 64 bit processor, everything I have told you WILL NOT WORK!
The game was designed for a 32 bit machine and a 64 bit processor is a whore (Horse) when it comes to almost ANY 32 bit game (which is = to 99.5% of all software to date)
I can't help you there. I made 100% absolutely certain I got a 32 bit processor because I have helped many other people with 64 bit processors (Single core, dual core etc.) and have gotten NO WHERE trying to even load the dam program .If you would like step by step, walk through assistance, send me a comment on my web page. I don't give out my real email here. In the 10+ years I've been on the (32 bit) is a VERY different email addy,And once you get that email, response such as 98 to XP.
I will be happy to set up a chat on ICQ,Aim,Msn etc. The trouble is the op !
I freely admit I KNOW NOTHING about the 64 bit . (I will, eventually, learn as much about the 64 bit as I know the 32.......I just don't have the processor nor do I know enough to get into it)Hopefully, for your peace of mind, you will FINALLY follow my directions on what works. And, again, If you have a 64 bit machine. I would guess you'll never see the monopoly light! Hasbro don't care, they have sold so many, the don't even retail the normal version. Why would they care to spend money on the coding needed to fix it for a new op-
Hopefully for you, what I have written will get you up and running! You can, also, contact hasbro and see if a new version is in the works or not. And I also reiterate, I have a 32 bit machine that I can work with. You can even set the partition to run a win 98,xp etc. As well as your 64 bit (If so) Op .
Let me know your results.

When/If you get the program loaded, you need to go to the "Westwood" folder,(on your "C" Drive) find the icon "MONOPOLY.EXE" RIGHT click on monop exe and select "properties". Within Properties, you need to Select the tab that says "Compatibility".
When your in "Compatibility" Select "Run this program in compatibility for Checkmark windows XP service pack 3"If you have a 32 bit machine, you now have ALL that you need to run Monop and get into WWchat.

All you said was "win7" or I wouldn't have even wasted my time......you find a 64 bit version of a game they no longer make, let me know. I know quite a few people who bought 64 bit machines thinking it was going to run right out the box. Unuh......software is going to take a loooooong time to catch up.
